(6 pack) Great Value Traditional Refried Beans, 16 oz

Bulked up my recipe when there wasnt as much meat. I had enough meat for 4 burritos but this got me 6. tasted great. i added it right towards the end of the stove top cooking and it just melted right in with all the meat, onion, peppers, garlic, etc. I thought it was great and added to the overall burrito happiness.

I love the Great Value brand of refried beans! I actually prefer their taste and texture over all of the higher priced brands Walmart carries. You can really stretch your money with these; all you need is some flour tortilla, shredded cheese, %26 sour cream to make several bean burritos out of just one can. Of course you can jazz them up with taco sauce, or anything else you like too. Talk about a super fast, easy, cheap, filling, fiber %26 protein packed meal! You can also use them in place of meat in tacos, or as one of many toppings for Macho Nachos.

you can make many different dishes with these! very versatile base for salads, casaroles, nachos, and side dishes. ( If you have problems with "gas," equate makes a produce exact ingredients as " beano," two tablets at the beginning of the meal, and you won't have a challenge)... excellent protein and fiber, very healthy choice and an inexpensive meal

These beans are perfect. Most brands are way to thick and are hard to warm up without drying them out to much or adding a ton of water. With these I get a great flavor, they warm up easily, and I don't have to add much water if any. They also mix really well into taco meat or cheese if i choose to use them for burittos instead of a side dish.

These beans are a much easier product to work with! When I buy other canned brands, they’re very thick and hard to break up. These blend right into my recipe. I appreciate not having to spend fifteen minutes breaking down the beans to get them to blend in. Not salty. Not stiff.

these taste like homemade all you have to do is add a lil seasonings few drops of Franks red hot an a lil cheese and you got some really good refried beans :) we all love these so im glad I get to save money and everyone is happy too you don't get much better than that : )

Perfect product to compliment My Huge Double Beef Burritos, it went well with my seasoned ground chuck, onion and green pepper mixture, that I top with sour cream, or cottage cheese, or recotta cheese, or perhaps even a nice Italian Cheese, and then finish it off with nice diced tomatoes and shredded romaine lettuce!!!!! My Giant Beef Burritos are a meal in itself!!!!! Not too spicy and hot, because if you want to add heat to my Spanish %26 Mexican food I always offer that as a condiment, red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper or chili powder and, if you like, I provide you with a Tabasco Sauce made from cayenne peppers or a Tabasco Sauce made from jalapeno peppers!!!!!! if you like some other hot sauce then you are more than welcome to bring it with you and to my table!!!!! I Say To You In Italian And English: "A Benaca Se Mi Atabla A Amangana"!!!!!! "And Come To My Table And Eat"!!!!!!

I like the refried beans from Walmart. I enjoyed the taste to the beans. There is no dent to see in these beans because the beans are mased in a can. The beans can be served as a side dish, or an alternative for meat as a protein source in a nacho salad, taco salad, or nachos. I used the beans as a chip and dip component. The beans can be a topping too. The refried beans are easy to chew. Thank you, Walmart.

I grabbed these for burrito night because they were cheap and within arm's reach, and honestly—they turned out pretty great. Smooth, tasty, and they heat up faster than my kids can ask, “What's for dinner?” for the third time. They work in burritos, tacos, nachos, or just slapped on a plate with some cheese if you're keeping expectations low. And yes, they may cause a little “evening thunder,” but honestly, that just proves they're authentic. For a budget can of beans, they deliver. Cheap, dependable, and zero complaints from the family—well… except for the aftermath.

Ok I tried this twice just to make sure. Look cheap and disgusting is still a waste of money. Start with taste. What taste some oil blend with bean juice thats the flovor. Texture Some cooked beans those will be the mashed ones and half cooked beans those would be the bean chunks that are crunchy. I wasn't buying them to eat as a meal but to add to my chilli a little thickener and mashed beans but what i got was a log made of oil and half cooked beans. literally there is never a savings when the product is bad. I read a review that said that tasted good. Gee I wonder what her food tastes like. Dont waste your money because with most great value products they start out good and then start cutting costs which will always leave you saying hey i thought it used to taste good. It more than likely did but it dont no more. So maybe the beans were good at some point but i tried it twice and no its no good.
