Great price!! Easy to prepare. For every cup of rice you double the cups of water. Example: 1 cup of rice , 2 cups of water. Bring rice and water to a boil then turn down low cover with lid and cook for 15-17 minutes. Remember to check it occasionally to make sure it's not sticking to the pan. You can mix cream soups or chicken or vegetables or just plain butter or salt into your rice. Make an excellent inexpensive delicious meal. 🥘
😂 just incase my President triggers anyone with a vindictive heart I wanna be somewhat prepared and what better way than a big bag of rice 🍚 😁 💕🙌🏿🙌🏻🙌🏾Praying for all those in a position of power to have the wisdom, compassion, and protection of a mighty Savior
Rice - a hearty staple that goes great with everything. I love Asian Cooking, Fried Rice, and Southern-style "Dirty Rice" recipes that all go great with this high-quality Great Value Walmart Brand Rice. Why pay more for a name-brand, when Rice is Rice? This Great Value just makes sense. It's Great Rice, for a Great Price!
Wonderful shelf life, tastes good, and easy to prepare in the microwave. I purchased this for the summer storm season in case we lose power and have to cook on our grill/camping pot. I like that it won't go to waste even if we don't eat it anytime soon.
Excellent value, tastes great. Quality is just fine for many uses. I buy all the time Sometime s I add bouillon or veggies after cooking. I use for Chinese and Japanese meals or I add cheese to use as a side dish. I also use in soup or to make rice pudding. Great product The price per pound is best on the 5 lb or larger bags
This is my first time buying the great value brand rice. I typically buy a different brand, but they didn't have the brand that I wanted so I purchased this one, my expectations weren't high, but it was good! You would think that rice is rice but not all rice is the same not all rice lasts long if you leave it out overnight and this one you could leave it out overnight. It tastes fine so I would purchase it again.
It is rice. It cooks nice. Rinse it and then cook it. Used in microwave rice cooker or on stove perfect every time. If you are diabetic cook in advance refrigerate then reheat cuts the gluten down after refrigerated and keeps blood sugar lower. Enjoy
it tastes just as well as the name brand. i have been buying great value, equate and mainstays Walmart products for years and will continue to do so. no regrets.
This long grain rice cooks up fluffy and tastes great every time. It's a great value for the size, works well in a variety of meals, and has become a pantry staple in our house.
Been buying this 5 lb bag for a while and honestly it holds up fine against the name brands that cost twice as much. Rinse it first, use a 2 to 1 water ratio, and it comes out fluffy with the grains staying separate instead of turning to mush. Works for stir fry, rice and beans, or just a plain side. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that it's pretty bland on its own, so salt your water or cook it in broth. But for the price? Can't complain. Will keep it in the pantry rotation.
