Excellent value, tastes great. Quality is just fine for many uses. I buy all the time Sometime s I add bouillon or veggies after cooking. I use for Chinese and Japanese meals or I add cheese to use as a side dish. I also use in soup or to make rice pudding. Great product The price per pound is best on the 5 lb or larger bags

Great price!! Easy to prepare. For every cup of rice you double the cups of water. Example: 1 cup of rice , 2 cups of water. Bring rice and water to a boil then turn down low cover with lid and cook for 15-17 minutes. Remember to check it occasionally to make sure it's not sticking to the pan. You can mix cream soups or chicken or vegetables or just plain butter or salt into your rice. Make an excellent inexpensive delicious meal. 🥘

Wonderful shelf life, tastes good, and easy to prepare in the microwave. I purchased this for the summer storm season in case we lose power and have to cook on our grill/camping pot. I like that it won't go to waste even if we don't eat it anytime soon.

This is my first time buying the great value brand rice. I typically buy a different brand, but they didn't have the brand that I wanted so I purchased this one, my expectations weren't high, but it was good! You would think that rice is rice but not all rice is the same not all rice lasts long if you leave it out overnight and this one you could leave it out overnight. It tastes fine so I would purchase it again.

It is rice. It cooks nice. Rinse it and then cook it. Used in microwave rice cooker or on stove perfect every time. If you are diabetic cook in advance refrigerate then reheat cuts the gluten down after refrigerated and keeps blood sugar lower. Enjoy

Love this rice for the taste and quality. The price is great, too. Yesterday I made Mexican rice in my rice cooker and it was fluffy and delicious. It's a consistently good product.

it tastes just as well as the name brand. i have been buying great value, equate and mainstays Walmart products for years and will continue to do so. no regrets.

I found no difference between this rice and the expensive versions. It tastes the exact same for far less money! It has simple ingredients (just rice that is also fortified). The preparation is the same as other brands and can be used all of the ways other brands can as well. It has a nice consistency but can get mushy if left in liquid too long, you guessed it, just like other rice brands. I recommend this product if you want to save money!

I steam rice in the microwave. 1/3 cup 2/3 water for 15 minutes in medium high and the rice is done. I prefer not using anything as condiment, salt, etc, because I often eat rice with Chinese food I cook at home, so, there is no need to complicate and make major efforts. I cook enough for me and my husband, it's a little that goes a long way. Our diet is restrict, so, we do not eat rice every single day. I recommend this rice because it works pretty well for the dishes I make.
