Great Value Medium Picante Sauce, 70 oz

This sauce was so tasty I found myself pouring a little into a bowl to sample, over and over again. Fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of sweet and heat. The mouthfeel of the ingredients couldn't be better. If you are satisfied with medium to modest heat, prepare yourself for a sauce superior to the famous name brands.

They say on the label medium heat levels, but I add more reaper pepper powder to mine. I do like it hot, the hotter the better. I also use a hand blender or stick blender to cut the bigger chunks down, like a picante sauce. The flavor is very good with good tomato flavors included. This product sure beats the big city brands in flavor and costs. All of our friends really like the texture of it blended, try it and might like it too. You can spice it up to your level of enjoyment.

This salsa is precisely what I enjoy, it's a very good amount, and I'm also glad that it does not come in a glass jar, as I have had difficulty with glass shattering or breaking during or upon delivery. I would recommend this to anyone else that likes this type of salsa and does not want it in a glass jar.

I've always been a pace person, but I've been feeling unsatisfied with it lately. Tried this out of curiosity and because it was cheap. I'll never buy name brand again. There is so much more flavor in this one, it's not dull. Great for dipping other foods in. Some comments say it's watery but that's a ooor description, it's not watery, it's liquidy, if you want chunky salsa, this ain't it. I wouldn't use this for chip's and salsa, but for putting on nachos or dipping other foods in it's great.

Great value medium picante sauce in a 70 ounce bottle is absolutely worth buying. Great value truly lives up to its name. It's always a great product and it's always always a great value. This salsa is a little bit watery, but not to wear. It's watered down the consistency is how it's supposed to be. There are nice chunks of tomatoes and the little peppers and vegetables that it's put in salsa. It is not a sweet salsa that has a tiny bit of spice. Very very mild. Nothing to wear. You have to stop eating it because it burns your tongue. The salsa has nice chunks in it. The bottle is humongous. It's about the size of a milk jug it last my family forever the bottle itself is a thick plastic and a twist on top. You could also reuse the plastic jug for many other things the opening to the jug is very large. You can store nails in it. You can store paper clips little crafting things because it has the handle as well. Just take off the sticker and you got yourself a free little jar. The price point on this is amazing and honestly, this is the only salsa I buyif this is not available I move onto the smaller great value picante sauce. It's a definite recommend for me.

Very comparable to the much more expensive brand-named picante sauce, taste wise. It is medium heat, so I always add 2 jars of diced jalapenos to kick it up a notch.

I have salsa almost everyday. I was extremely impressed by this product. Price is great and quality isn't compromised. I'm stocked up on it at all times.

This is the perfect way to buy Picante sauce, Great Taste, not too hot, and is an excellent chip dip. I put it on everything and have never been disappointed

They ask things to consider in review: Crumbs...It's not a loaf of bread Heat level...Feels like about 59* to 60*, but I can turn the thermostat up or down if need be Yummy...Huh? It's not an ice cream cone Spices...Doesn't taste real spicy It is quite thin and does not come close to the better taste of name brands. I quite enjoy the majority of Walmart food products, but this one strikes out for me.

A lot of people would like it. I didn't care for it because it was too sweet for me. I like something tangy more more dill flavored I guess I would say but but most people would probably like it. I just didn't care for it because of the sweetness.
