HERDEZ Salsa Casera Medium, Tortilla Chip Dip, Shelf Stable, Large 70 oz Plastic Jug

This is a great salsa for dipping. One of the best I have tried compared to homemade. I like to pour it over chicken breast and bake.

Better than Pace. Pace is slightly thicker but seems due to a thickening agent. Pace has a slightly smoky tex-mex flavor. No smoky flavor in Herdez. Herdez has more flavor in my opinion. I live in So California where we have great Mexican food and Herdez Salsa taste is more like the salsa you would get in a restaurant here.

Are use this salsa alone and mixed into other recipes that I make. I use a ton of it because it tastes good. Culturally this is the equivalent of drinking salad dressing right out of the bottle and then taking a bite of celery. Like I said it taste’s good.

This picante sauce has a really fresh tomato flavor with just the right amount of heat. My only complaint is that it's way to watery. It really shouldn't be so thin. But it does have a better flavor even than Pace. I just wish it were thicker and maybe a bit chunkier.

Just the perfect amount of spice. And a perfect flavor for just about anything.

This Salsa was recommended to me by a close friend and it is now the only one I use. They offer three levels of heat-mild, medium, hot. Medium is just right for me. The hot is hot!

For me, the best salsa of all the rest. Convenient for a senior widower and nice balance of ingredients for good flavor. I use this and the verde in many dishes.

great salsa .. its packed with a lot of flavor.. perfect amount of spice. tastes fresh . like it was home made.. so yummy on chips . tacos ,and burritos . and i threw it in with sliced chicken and cheese and my family loved it!! i will definitely purchase it again

I love Herdez Salsa. I prefer the hot, but it was not available in this large size. I use it a lot to cook with instead of tomatoes, tomato sauce, etc.

Product I received had expired so will need to make a trip to store to return. So disappointing.
