Great Value Orange Marmalade, 18 oz

I've left a review for this product before when I purchased a single jar. Well, I'm back for more to stock up the pantry. I love the large orange rind pieces, the white part on the rind doesn't bother me at all and the ‘smackiness ‘ of the rind is a nice counterpoint to the sweetness of the marmalade. The bulk pricing for this marmalade is absolutely unbeatable. This may or may not be in the same category as French marmalade but I really don't care - I love it on my freshly home baked bread

This most recent jar of marmalade was particularly good. The right amount of ‘smackiness' and lots of nice pieces of orange rind - something that I really enjoy.

Love rhis marmalade its sweet, but not too sweet its bitter, but not too bitter Love the pirces of rinf in the marmalade Price is incredible for such a quality product! My favorite! Will purchase forever!

love this stuff...great orange flavor and texture...I often eat it on multigrain crackers...yummy! Try it on homemade drop biscuits...real butter is a delicious addition!

I love orange marmalade, especially when it tastes great with excellent texture and is budget friendly! I find the balance of the orange tang and sweetness perfect. - - - - This is a burst of sunshine on warm, buttery toast and English muffins, something I often have as a "dessert" when I want a quick little something sweet after dinner. - - - - For a quick dinner I put some rice on to cook, chop chicken into 1/2" pieces and sauté in a little butter. I add some crushed pineapple, a couple of heaping spoonful's of orange marmalade, and a touch of sherry to make a nice sauce. I add this to a pile of cooked rice and finish with a fist full of cilantro. Delicious in just 30 minutes. - - - - This is bright and festive for thumbprint cookies, too. Good stuff!

i have always been a Smuckers orange marm fan--but tried this recently and it is very good!! i make a variety of cooking sauces and like to add orange marmalade for sweet and sour chicken ...etc. this brand mixes--cooks-- and tastes delicious in a variety of dishes and just as a toast / sandwich spread. i dislike high fructose corn syrup fillers-- but they are still common so you deal with it sometimes. this price [ now $2.14 for 18oz 4-2015 ] is very fair it seems. and i have bought several jars for upcoming large cooking events [sauces]. only i will know i replaced the Smuckers brand-- unless i'm asked...lol. [ there does seem to be more orange rind / zest in Smuckers -- but the Great Value brand has a suffiueient.amount. ]

Not as great as I was buying from Bi-Lo before they closed the store. Still. not a bad marmalade...

I love marmalade. GV is comparable to Smucker's for a lesser price so it's a no brainer. Have bought repeatedly and recommend. 4 stars because the price has inched up. More than GV jams- unjustifiably so.

The color looks dark n old, that's from sitting on shelf too long! In my younger years I have seen old bottles of orange marmalade on my grandmothers shelf's. I'm on my seventy's!! Every time I have bought some they have always been bright orange 🍊 I never bought one from Walmart that looked as dark as the one I received!

This marmalade tasted fine but the consistency is terrible. You cannot spread it as it just pours off the bread. Very watery. I haven't purchased any marmalade for a long time and was looking forward to enjoying some on my toasted bagels but was totally disappointed. I do not recommend this in any way. Some things you need to pony up for and pay for a better quality product. This was one of those times. I put my knife in the jar expecting the consistency of jelly and just got a runny mess. You shouldn't be able to just pour your jelly out of the jar. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I'm throwing mine away and will try a name brand instead of a watered down generic brand.
