Great Value Original Beef Jerky, 5 oz

I really like the great value original. however they delivered one original and one peppered. next time I will mark do not substitute. the pieces are thicker than other brands.

so pricey but tastes amazing yes sometimes extra chewy pieces should expect that though just why is it so pricey. i will say go to store never let someone pick it out they always give fat chewy nasty pieces so pick it out youself you can tell if the whole bag is trash.

I buy an assortment of jerky for my husband as a Christmas gift. I'm not the one that eats them, so this is a review from what he has said. It has a softer texture and is very flavorful. He is a denture wearer, so there are a lot of things he cannot eat. This is something that is perfect for him! I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to do this for him this year because of the cost. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the cost is close to the same price as last year. THESE MAKE A GREAT GIFT FOR SOMEONE THAT IS HARD TO SHOP FOR.

About a year ago, I bought a bag of these to see how they tasted, and my dog paid not no attention to me snacking on them until I dropped one on the floor, and he raced to pick it up and devoured it and he wanted more and more, so I bought him more and more. Good stuff.

gv beef jerky is a great choice for a snack or side to a main salad for those on a fat loss journey. It is tasty, not too salty and a consistency that doesn't feel like you're pulling teeth to eat it. It stores well in most kitchen cabinets retaining it's texture and taste w/out refrigeration.

this was so good, i made it my evening meal. i gained weight while i was bedridden, it may have helped me walk again to strengthen my deteriorating muscles. it was so good to have that taste again. one bag was still wet, that was the best bag ever lol ☆☆☆☆☆ I'm walking pretty good now, i actually have dome muscle too.

we tried this verses slim jim and its actually decent just not with so much spice flavor. it had alot more tender pieces then hard.so that was nice.

I like this jerky, except it has a lot of spice in it. It is labeled "original," but itis hot enough that I am afraid to try the "peppered" kind, because I wouldn't want to eat anything with more kick than this has. I was unprepared for the spice, but after I ate a couple of ounces of it and I knew what to exect, I was happy with it. Moisture is hit or miss on it. Sometimes I get it and it is easy to eat and the pieces are soft, other times it is hard and difficult to chew, BUT overall it tends toward being easier to eat than other jerkies. I do recommend it despite the flaws, but watch out if you aren't wanting something with a kick.

very little in the bag. the bag is more then double the size it could be compared to whats in the bag. it tastes fine but for whats in the bag its overpriced and an oversized bag to make you fell like theres more in it then there is.

The packaging has been changed and so has product it self. This use to be my favorite jerky. Now it is lacking flavor. The pieces are tuff and not as moist as they use to be. I won't be buying this any more.
