Great Value Ranch & Bacon Dry Pasta Salad, 7.5 oz (Shelf-Stable, Packaged Meal)

Shocked! I've been buying the name brand for years until I couldn't find it here. Took a chance on the Great Value Ranch %26 Bacon and I am so glad I did! I honestly think it's better than Suddenly Salad and so does my family! the seasoning is more robust and flavorful, not to mention there is more of it. The veggies may be fewer but I always added frozen peas on my own so no big deal. The bacon smoky bacon flavor is more pronounced, too. There are no "off" flavors. Oh, because I ran out of Mayo I did add a little bit of Miracle Whip but really, not enough to alter the true flavor. Bye, bye, Suddenly (not as good) Salad!

Tastes just like the name brand to me! It's a little skimpy on the veggies but for the price you can't beat it. Pair it with a can of baked beans and grilled or baked chicken and you've got a meal!

This is really tasty and I think it's better than the original kind. I'll be getting it from now on.

Tastes just as good as the name brands..... Of course, great value they say is made by all the name brands just packaged under Walmart.

The only disappointing part was the total lack of veggies. The number of peas shown on the front of the box are all that you get in the seasoning packet, plus about a 1/10th teaspoon of micro carrot flakes.

it was very easy to make-i was surprised at how much it actually tasted like bacon. i wouldn't bother rinsing noodles off after they cook as directions stated. Just mix and let it set in the fridge for a spell. very potent bacon taste though.

The flavoring is not right the fake bacon flavoring. I made three boxes of this and I threw my portion with dinner away. The fake bacon bits are overpowering l, squishy bouillony fake bacon chunks and nasty to eat and I told everyone to pick around them. Tried to just eat it avoiding those and nope. You can make an okay pasta salad with macaroni, precooked bacon packet,egg, ranch, mayo, eggs and add ins. Sorry Walmart this one is yucky and never again.

This is a generic for Suddenly Salad. Great value did not live up to it's quality on this one. All I accomplished in cooking this was wasting a pound of good cubed ham and some mayonaise. I do not recommend.

The noodles were tiny they didn't swell up hardly at all. There were barely any veggies in the pasta salad.

Everything was going good until I opened the seasoning packet. It smelled like plastic. I mixed it with the mayo anyways hoping maybe it'll taste better then it smelled. Mixed the noodles in. Taste like plastic. I normally buy the name brand of this but figured I try GV as it's cheaper and have had mostly success with GV products. Not this, it's awful!!!
