I hesitated buying this but have been very pleased. I add some of my rotisserie chicken, some canned or frozen veges and I have 3 servings. I like the taste and find the ease %26 speed in preparing very convenient. A nice staple for my pantry and at a reasonable price.
I love shrimp alfredo but I hate messing up the kitchen. I really like the zatarain's product carried by walmart but it's a little pricey. You can buy two bags of small shrimp and two envelopes of this stuff for the same price. Follow instructions, you need milk to make this, I add a tablespoon of butter for cooking. Good alfredo sauce is tough to make from an envelope for sure this isn't bad but you definetely want to let it sit a bit to thicken up after cooking. I add my thawed pre cooked shrimp after cooking then a bit of salt and pepper and maybe some other spices according to your own pallete. Pretty good and a lot cheaper for sure.
Makes easy tuna casserole! Budget friendly, super quick, Put milk, water, butter in pan according to directions. (I use 2 packages) Add a bag of frozen peas/carrots, 2 cans of drained tuna, and some frozen onion pepper mix if you like. Boil until thick stirring often. When thick add some shredded cheese on the top if desired. smashed potato or corn chips on top of cheese for crunch and done! I stick the pan under the broiler for a few minutes to brown the top.
Knorr was my go to for years. They changed it to yuk. I did a comparison the other day, and this and Pasta Roni came out on top. I cannot tell the difference between them. I will be using this for my scallops Alfredo for now on.
These are cheap and fairly good especially for the price. Does it taste like it came from an authentic restaurant? No! However it tastes good a and is filling. Not healthy though. Kids definitely like it and it’s easy as a side or to add chicken/shrimp into.
I buy these all the time they make a great side dish. They are as good as the name brand and save me more money on my grocery bill. I buy six packs at a time.
This is the Walmart brand of Knorr sides, and doesn't contain MSG. It was easy to prepare however you definitely need less liquid. The first time I made it, it was very thin. You need to wait for it to thicken up.
One of the few Great Value products we've found that doesn't taste the same/better than name brand. These are ok, but Knorr is definitely better. The texture is a little off and they're more bland, not as much cheese flavor
I've bought these Alfredo noodles for quite a while and, up until now have been consistently good--even when compared to the name-brand; not to mention the savings. However, something seems to have changed. Even when the directions are followed, the sauce is watery %26 bland, basically flavorless %26 never "sets up" into a sauce. It may not be suited to a side dish so much as a soup base: add some vegs %26 some chicken. Honestly, I'll have to re-evaluate whether to buy again.
Does Walmart test the products? l put 1/2 cup less water in the direction and it is still runny. it is disappointing compared to other brands. I will not purchase it again.
