I agree with those who say it's BETTER than Knorr. It's definitely much cheesier and It's perfect for a savory meal you can customize w/spices or a protein. Best of all it cooks in my electric hotpot in 5-7 minutes! If using a hotpot cut the liquid you add to just cover the rice mix so it doesn't get soupy.

When I have rice, I always like a little flavor to it. This particular rice I will pick up time and time again. The price is great, the flavoring is spot on, and always worth getting. You can't go wrong with getting a food packages to be in your pantry.

These are really good! We actually prefer these over a popular name brand rice packet. I add in steamed vegetables and a protein, like baked turkey breast chunks or shredded chicken. A good, quick, and inexpensive meal that everyone will eat. I keep these in my pantry at all times.

a lot of flavor and it does buff up a lot it can be considered a dollar meal because it gives you enough to fill up on and you have some left over corny how much you eat how much you weigh 28 300 pounds it will take a few of them but still they were satisfied on the flavor

I buy a few packets of these almost every time I go shopping. They make a great side dish! And it's one of the few items that are still $1.00. I like just a little bit more flavor when I prepare it, so I add a little bit of mild or medium green chiles to it. I buy a can of the green chiles, pour them into a baggie or container, then freeze them. When I make this side dish, I add a small amount of the chiles I've frozen, and I think it tastes great!

The cheddar rice and broccoli was average. Great taste! It was a little harder than my preferred brand. I do think its an excellent value for price and still very good. Great value always puts out an average to above average product for an affordable price. This is no exception.

I'm a big fan of broccoli and cheese rice ... but like many of us, have been striving to save more $ on groceries, so I've been testing GV brands in comparison to the better known name brands out there. The Great Value broccoli and cheese rice was okay, but not something I'd go out of my way to buy again. The flavor was decent, comforting and cheesy ... but it felt a bit one‑note after a few bites. Texture ended up a little mushy. It's a quick and easy side dish, and it works in a pinch, but it didn't quite stand out. If Walmart made a few tweaks in seasoning and texture, it could be much better. The price for name brand on this one is not much higher, and I'll be sticking with that one. Glad I tried it to confirm though, your results may vary!

I have purchased this Great Value Cheddar Broccoli Rice %26 Sauce online twice now because it looks so good. Both times, when I unpacked my order, I was disappointed that it is not 90-Second microwave Rice like other flavors that are in packages just like this is. The mistake is my own fault for not remembering from the last time and for not looking closer to make sure it was not the stove-top rice. But I think it made a good donation to the food shelf. (I am disabled so it is difficult for me to stand at the stove).

We really like cheddar broccoli cheese rice a roni mix, so wanted to see if the store version could be bought cheaper. 1. the servings size is smaller 2. it cooks the same 3. this product isn't very cheesy tasting, and no broccoli taste at all. 4. it's about 50 cents less than rice a roni, but also doesn't make as much, but not much of a difference. 5. biggest difference is flavor, this rice is low in flavor. Quite bland. no cheese taste, or broccoli. just an orangish yellow color.

OMG U TALK ABOUT GROSS DONT BUY THIS STUFF HOLY CRAP JUST SPEND A COUPLE EXTRA CENTS ON THE NAME BRAND VERSION YUCK..BUY AT UR OWN RISK GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE I GAVE TO MY CATS THEY TURNED THERE NOSES UP FINALLY MY DOG CAME ALONG AND ATE IT YUCK EVEN TOOK HIM A MINUTE OF ME SAYING YUM YUM BEFORE HE'D EAT IT LOL YUCK!!!
