Absolutely love the fact that this is a 5micron filter. The other brands on the shelf are 10 and 20micron. This is indeed a Great Value.

I have bought these before. They seem to work just as good as the name brand ones for less money.

This is a 2 pack of an RV marine water filter. It is compatible not only with RVs but also with Boats, Campers and even gardening hoses. One filrer lasts for 3 months (or 300 gallons of filtered water). It protects against odors, chlorine sediments and of course bad water taste. These filters are really easy to put on and off because of the little yellow Tightening nut on the little section of hose that also comes with the filters for easy hook up. There's an arrow on the filter to remind you of water flow direction and you cannot hook this directly to a Spicket it has to be in between hoses. Water tasted good so this Filter does what it says it's carbon filter so it won't get bacteria when you store when it's wet

I found this water filter great. It removes chlorine, sediment and other harmful constituent of tap water. Water taste really good; my family and I are happy with the filtration quality. We used it in our bathtub make the water easy on our body and hair. My daughter, my son and myself having very sensitive skin, and our dermatologist advised us to use filtered water instead of tap water. We all noticed the difference, and the effect on our hair is amazing. No more dryness or damaged hair. The flexible hose that came with the package worked well, protection against bacteria and Lead-Free Standard. It's mention Lifetime of 300Gallons which is not bad for the price and last for 3 months per one filter, but it really depends of the daily use of water and to what purpose you are using it. You should remember to let water run for 3 minutes when first time use. My family and I must have this product.

I actually use these for many things. We use them for our camper to make sure that we were not getting foul taste in sediment filled rusty water into the camper and to keep our tanks clean and clear. I use them to fill my spa so I'm not getting super hard contaminated filled water that I have to spend a ton of money and chemicals getting it adjusted. I use these to fill my swimming pool for all the same reasons. I also keep them on hand to fill my emergency underground water storage tanks since those have to get pumped out, cleaned and refilled periodically . I don't recommend them for watering your garden or grass or trees, because those types of things tend to like much of the BS that comes up from underground that humans don't happen to appreciate, drinking quite as much as trees and grass might. Also, if you're trying to wash your car with straight up hose water, you're not going to get nearly as good of a result, as if you were to hook up one of these to your water supply before running through your power washer or even just your hose Spicket. All in all I definitely recommend Great Value RV Water Filters!

I haven't been able to install this yet, as it's a replacement for the one I have installed now, but I can see it's the right one. I was concerned about it fitting, but it definitely will. And it looks like a good amount of water will filter through. I never knew I could connect this to my garden hose to clean the water, so i may absolutely try that, especially before filling my pool. Overall I'm very happy.
