The Great Value Soup %26 Oyster Crackers are my go-to cracker now for soup. I grew up eating saltines in my soup, and this cracker was reserved only for oyster soup. In my mind, I continued this tradition when I realized I didn't have to crumble saltines anymore and started using these in my Brunswick Stew or any flavor of my favorite Tomato Soup. The crackers soak up the flavored liquid and are a perfect mouthful. I highly recommend these tasty crackers in any flavored soup or where you may use crackers. They could also be good optional snacks for those who snack on crackers.
usually buy name-brand crackers, but decided to try these to save a little money. I honestly can't tell the difference! They are just as good as the name brand—crisp, salty, and perfect for dropping into a hot bowl of soup. Will definitely keep buying these.
Exactly as described nothing more nothing less I keep a little handful inside a Ziploc baggie with me at all times in case I need a little snack they're great to throw into my soup and I don't feel bad if the saltines go stale or get dry because I haven't finished the entire sleeve. Why would you who can afford Nabisco prices price
These soup and oyster crackers go great with warm winter meals. They have a salty flavor and hold up without getting soggy too fast in hot broth. However, they are noticeably smaller than traditional brand-name oyster crackers, so you might need to throw in a larger handful than usual. And the taste is good if you are on a budget.
Taste and freshness are fine. Smaller sized bags. The size of the oyster cracker is about half the size of the standard oyster cracker. Still tasty and salty .
they do the trick but they are no way shape and form like the brand name ones these are very small they look more like the marshmallows in Lucky charms more than oyster crackers I'm from New England and I have very high standards on my oyster crackers
The crackers were very disappointing, about 50% of them were burnt, not just slightly burnt either, burnt bad enough that they were inedible. Very disappointed in the quality control, will not buy again as I do not want to have to pick out all the inedible burnt ones before sprinkling them into my chili.
I love oyster crackers! The last 2 times I've purchased them, they hadn't even been in the house a day when I opened them up and they were so stale! The use by date was several months away still. I probably won't be buying the great value brand anymore.
I purchased the GV oyster crackers on June 15, 2026. I used them today but I noticed the use by date was March 25, 2025!!!!! after i made my corn chowder..The crackers were over a year old. Now I've ruined my corn shower and all they money for my ingredients is wasted. I suppose ill have to start checking the used by date on everything from Wal-Mart or start shopping elsewhere.
On delivery, I got a bag full of crumbled up crackers crumbs with a few crackers remaining intact. However, I used them in creamy tomato soup, but they pretty much dissolved into nothing. There was no taste. I will not be buying these oyster crackers again.
