Tomato soup, Campbells' is delicious. It has been around a long time. My Mother use to make this with ground beef and macaroni noodles. I made it the other day and it was delicious. The soup is good by itself, too. Will buy again, been buying it for years, would recommend.
Great soup for sure I love it with a good grilled cheese sandwich. Tomato soup is healthy for because a natural properties like Vitamin K C %26 A they are also rich in what is called lycopene what is thought to be a cancer fighting nutrient. They are high in antioxidants which are again supposed to also fight off bad cells...so im told...in short the are good for you.
Now we all know you can NOT beat Campbell's tomato soup! You can do so much with it! Dipping french fries in it is amazing! This is always a good choice for lunch, especially on a chilly day. The texture and so smooth. I always find it the most yummy when you make it with whole milk.
I would totally order this again. This time I even had it without adding milk to it. Just water. The only thing that might be more comforting than cream of tomatoes. Soup with the grilled cheese sandwich. Would be Campbell’s chicken noodle soup or chicken and rice soup. I love
I’ve been making this soup for 60 years when it was 9 cents a can. Well there is something different to it. Richer. I use half milk half water. Still very creamy. No fructose poison in it. Yeah! Keep it up. There’s a lot you could do to make it healthier.
When your feeling sickly, heat up some Campbell's tomatoe soup. add a 5oz can of evaporated %26 a 5 oz can of water to rinse the can out, pouring it All into a glass [that can hold hot contents] add crushed crackers, find your easy chair %26 melt into its fabric, as you slowly drink your tasty soup %26 you'll feel good in no time...I promise.
Well soup has gone up in price something terrible, BUT good old tomato soup is the best deal around. And you know Campbell's has been around a hundred years and the quality, taste, and price is easy on the pocket book. I am 80, I have been eating Campbell's tomato soup for 75 years. Use milk instead of water, its much richer tasting. Add a few saltines. OK I am getting hungry now.
I always use Campbell's tomato soup in my mom's vintage meat dish recipe. It has a great flavor, and so does the Great Value brand. Smooth texture, not too acidic, and has a slight, very slight sweetness. If you want a simple but delicious easy meal, try this recipe. Brown 2 lbs of ground beef, with 1 small diced onion, and drain, add to a mixing bowl. Add 2 cans of Campbell's tomato soup, and 1 can of water Add 1 cup of Instant rice Add 2 TBSP Chili Powder and 1 TBSP of sugar, and mix well. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish and place in a 350° preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and top with slices of Velveeta (must be velveeta or the Great Value brand) or shredded Velveeta, and return to the oven and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted, bubbly, and turning slightly browned in spots. Serve with some mashed potatoes, fries, or tots, and a veggie. The leftovers make great sandwiches. Enjoy!
I do not have a problem with Campbell's tomato soup. however I do have a problem with a lot of other items. your large eggs are the smallest one I have ever seen. many of your food products are stale or you're not keeping any of them in stock that you should. I purchased a nonstick frying pan and after the first use it was so hard to clean. I'm a little tired of facing this situation I may look for someone else to deliver groceries and items. thank you.
I ordered 4 cans of Campbell’s tomato soup but instead received 2. In addition, I received 3 cans of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup that I did not order. The one can of tomato soup is so badly dented, it’s difficult to tell it’s tomato soup. In addition, one of the Cream of Mushroom soup cans is also badly dented and damaged.
