I chop these olives up in the food processor and mix them into cream cheese and it's the best shmeer for bagels EVER. I also use that cream cheese as a snack dip for pretzels and crackers and stuff, and I put the olives in salads and on pizza too. DELICIOUS!
Such an excellent value for a BIG jar of olives! I love a handful of these with a sandwich instead of a pickle. I also add to salads, chop up and mix into dips and, of course, garnish an occasional dirty martini. The stuffed gourmet olives are wonderful but have become so pricey they're really a splurge. These do the trick when I'm craving some salty goodness. The quality is great too. Yes, you may hit a random mushy olive here or there but that happens even with much more expensive olives. When I finish a jar, I will drop a few hardboiled eggs into the brine and a few days later, slice one for a salad. Yum!
Perfect supper- green olives, black olives, sliced tomato, diced apple, cheddar cheese %26 sourdough bread. For the times you want easy non cook tasty supper. Don't forget the olives. They are very tasty even if Yorkie doesn't agree. Prefer Great Value brand as is good quantity for the price.
I don't drink alcohol especially Martinis. They do make a great snack. I love them on my lunch and dinner salads along with my black olives %26 Greek olives. Yummy. I used to purchase the small jars now I purchase the large jar. I call them Spanish olives. That is what they use to call them when I was a child. I place them on my fingers and eat them like a snack. They go good in potato %26 mac salads too.
I always use these great value olives for anything that calls for green olives. my husband especially enjoys them as a snack. they are the perfect size for every need
Not sure what happened to the ones Sams was carrying but I was glad when i found this big jar at Wallys. These are good olives. i like to add them to different dishes and as a side with sandwiches etc. Or just by themselves.
These olives are great. Packed tightly so you're getting a good amount of olives not all juice. Just the right acidic twang to them and they are firm from first to last. Great price too! Add up the price of how many jars this equals and you'll see a nice price savings. These have been great on pizza, in plain old spaghetti or other pasta dishes. I just cut them in half and toss them in at the last minute. Great right out of the jar too!!
I love to have these on hand for snacks in my home. Everyone here will grab a small cup full olives and before you know it the entire container is gone. So I'd say they are a hit.
Soft, the overwhelming number of olives in this jar were, soft, kind of mushy. I prefer my olives firm and these were not. I will not buy this brand again
The cost of this size jar is great, however, both times I bought them they tasted rotten. I've gone back to buying my usual name brand and the difference between the taste is like night and day. Won't purchase these again.
