Overall, this is a great lawn mower. It cuts the weeds and grass well. Here is what I would mention so that people are aware of it. A plus, I do like having the bag catching all of the grass and other yard debris, so it does not fly in my face. The minus, I find it challenging to remove the bag easily once its attached. Instead, I lift the plastic cover over the grass catching bag and with gloved hands I am pulling out the grass that's in the bag. Caution don't pull the plastic lid too far back. Note that when you want to start the lawn mower you need to push the power button and the handlebars together and there is a 3 second delay when it starts which is a good safety feature. To stop it release both the handlebars and power button. It does stop pretty quickly but there might be a brief delay. The 20 inch is great for the yard at my house. Where we live has some small hilly spots on our yard and I find that it's harder to push the lawnmower up those hills so a weed eater would work better in those areas. I have used the lawn mower 3 times already since I bought it this year. It works really well for our tough weeds and grass. Thanks for the great price too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this one in bundle and my back yard is around 2400 sqft and with single charge,I was able to do mowe,Edge trimming and blower operation. Self-propeled option is great addional of older people can do it as well.Power is enough to mowe around 5 to 6" long grass to 2 to 3" grass.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Recently purchased and have cut lawn 3x now. Nice level cut, easy adjustable deck height and able to cut full lawn (approx 4,000 ft2) on a single charge with battery life left. Happy with the purchase
Mower was easy to assemble and batteries charged faster than listed .Very easy to use yard has slight incline mower handled with no issues Although it stated 45 minutes use time ,I used for an hour and 15 minutes(used on 2 small lawns) before battery died. Was looking at the Ego mower but it was overkill and over price for yards that I cut. This was excellent purchase at great price and functions exactly as described. Will get more greenworks tools as I have the batteries and charger alreafy
Works great. Old gas mower wouldn't start, so I upgraded to battery electric mower. Wheels roll smoothly, light weight, little effort to push, even uphill slopes, for senior citizen. Quiet. Easy pushbutton start. Recharges quickly, two batteries at a time. Mowed in hot weather, 95F, no problem with overheating. Compact fold-up storage. First Greenworks purchase, happy customer, would recommend. No more gas mowers.
This mower is a major step up from gas. It takes about 3 secs to push the start button and start mowing. The grass bag is easy to remove. The mower is a lot lighter than the gas alternative, but can be awkward to turn. So far, I could not be happier with this purchase.
Good value. Works well. However the instructions for assembly are horrible. The handle part with the start button do not attach to the rest of the handles securely. The screws do not tighten enough to hold the top handle stably. I hope Green works can help me get this corrected. Otherwise, it did a great job handling the few rows of grass I did mow. It was light and I didn't have to push it much.
The lawnmower stopped working in less than a month of using. I have a mid size yard...cut it once a week. About the fourth time using the lawnmower, it no longer worked. Only the headlights would turn on.
Unfortunately, my lawn mower arrived with a dangerous defect. During the first time starting this mower it made a loud noise. Upon further inspection it was apparent that the pre-installed blade was clipping the inside of the mower housing. The housing did not appear to be damaged, but the blade could not rotate freely without making contact in one spot. I wanted to like this product, but I am disappointed in the overall quality.
Was delivered this item and it was missing a battery. Contacted customer support and they said they’d sent me a battery in 3 days. 3 days pass no battery was sent so I contact them again and they say instead they’ll issue me a full refund of the order and I don’t even have to return it. Because I was promised this I went and ordered a battery online for $80. Now they are saying that I will not be getting a refund unless I return the item. So now if I return the lawnmower for a refund I’m out the $80 i had to spend on the missing battery.
