[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great website. Got product very fast. Very easy to use. I am switching all my small yard tools to greenworks pro products. That should tell you how I feel about the greenworks line up. Have a pole saw. Next will be a tiller. This string trimmer works amazing. Really enjoy the new head design. Better than the fist Gen string trimmer. Thank you greenworks.
Easy to put the string in it! I was trying too hard! lol Then I went on YouTube and it's EASY! What a fool I was! lol I love this thing! Has LOTS of power to really get my weeds and long grass cut back. Love the strap to put around you to ease up on carrying it around. Powerful! I had another similar but the bottom cracked and fell off. I tried glueing it and no! Didn't go. Bought this one and LOVE it! I'm a 67 yr old woman btw. And it's simple for me to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to operate, fairly light weight. The battery last a while on the low power setting, good for general weed eating and edging. Level 2 is great for ground clearing and thicker grass. Exactly what I needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the noise is the first thing you notice. Compared to my gas trimmer this is quiet. My brother in law says: " I have an electric tooth brush that makes more noise" :) Anyway, I enjoy the quiet tool and the 4amphour batter is perfect for my almost 1/2 acre. Would have enjoyed getting a smaller battery but it is not that heavy. I also have the edger attachment and my only issue with that is that changing out the attachments is not as easy as my old gas trimmer. Not impossible just more finicky in my opinion but definitely not a deal breaker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this 3 times so far to trim/edge my yard after mowing. Able to just swap the battery from the mower and still have enough charge to finish. Plenty of power, lightweight, and the easy load system for replacing string is great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the trimmer for our son based on our having one. It is a well made product. Thank you.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So far so good, just bought this trimmer and am just so happy to have something that stops and starts in an instant. It handles the thick grass as well as the bits around my trees and shrubs. No more smelly exhaust or clogged carborator for me!
I love this trimmer and I already have another one. However, this one a different head on it and it is extremely difficult to get the string to pass all the way through. When you're trying to restring it. I can only get it to go in from one side and it takes a lot of work and patience to get it to finally slide through. My older one does not have that problem but the head is different on it
I like the new battery charger. It is easier to insert and remove the battery. This string trimmer feels heavier than the older model I had. The new metod to feed the string into the trimmer head is great but I have problems with the string release while using it and the quality of the string sucks. It brakes constantly and I have to bump the feeding head every few steps along the grass edge. FYI, I still use the cutting string provided with the new tool. I also have to bump the feeding head 2-4 times to get the string released. The older model released the string after only one bump. It is really frustrating.
I previously purchased the 60v mower and blower, which are very good. The 60v trimmer is awful. Awkward to handle, the bump feed almost never works, and I had to restring it every 10 minutes. Extremely dissatisfied with the trimmer, I'm going to just give it away if I can't return it. And why is there no customer service email address on the site?
