Omg I love this mower. It never loses power while running. It gets the grass done easily. The bag on the back holds all the grass. Very happy with this. Battery is easy to use and has a long time. Charging is easy. The operation of this mower is simple. The lever is good as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, start up and use. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to longevity yet, but so far so good.
Greenworks quality. This is our 2nd mower, this mower is a work horse just like the last one. Greenworks makes great equipment. I have recommended and neighbors have purchased mower because of my mower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Real easy to adjust the level of cut, battery last like it should, and it's light enough to move it around.
I had a 40V Greenworks mower for 5 years before my ex took it in the divorce. It worked great the whole time with zero mechanical issues, but would often run out of battery power before finishing the yard. When I bought my new house, I got myself a brand new 80V Greenworks mower. I feel like this one takes on taller grass more easily, and cuts better so I can walk faster. I did my whole yard on one battery charge. I’m loving it! I also have a Greenworks snow thrower, and can say from experience that their customer service is the bomb!
I am very happy with this mower. It’s easy to set up and use. Battery life is great. It does a great job on my yard. Most people that don’t like battery powered mowers because of power issues are trying to mow grass that is overgrown. I have had no problem with power. It is nice not having to add fuel and check the oil. You can turn the mower on it’s side if you want to clean the underside or work on the blade and not have to worry about any fluid spilling.
So easy to use. It’s much lighter than a gas mower to push. The battery last as stated in the description by the manufacturer. No problems as of this time with the mower. As a woman carrying for my own lawn and landscaping I need all the reliable equipment I can get. 😃
STAY TUNED This is a stellar mower -easy to push, 21" gets the job done. Not so easy to clean, comes as advertised TWO LI=BATTERIES. I called customer service to confirm this and they did. But when it got here, there was only one. Will finish review when I get battery.
My issue with this RELIABLE mower is that if you have a half acre or more you definitely need to purchase an additional Greenworks 80V battery otherwise you will not finish your yard on one charge. I tried to avoid the ridiculously high price stock battery with another 80V batter brand that is even worse. I also wouldn't recommend this mower if you typically are cutting grass that is relatively high and thick. The mower is underpowered and you will find yourself repeatedly shutting the mower off to clean out the undercage.
I do like the light weight, and quite functioning. However, I have tried multiple times/setting to get it to mulch and not leave a mess behind (clumps of non-mulched and missed blades of grass) on my healthy yard, even when barely taking anything off the top. I have reached out to Support and they sent me the "best" blade they have (which looked just like the one it came with), this was of no benefit. I pulled out my ~20+yr old gas mower and it still does a much better job of cutting and mulching than this mower (leaves little to no visible remnants). Maybe it would work better on a yard not as healthy and thick as my small yard. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a battery powered mower.
