Grill Mates Rub, Applewood, 6.0 oz Bottle

We have tried this rub on both chicken and pork and the family loves it. My picky eaters ate all their pork loin tonight and said it was the best. It has great flavor and a little goes a long ways in my opinion. Overall, the whole family would recommend it.

This McCormick grill mates Apple wood rub smells great right from the bottle. You receive a generous amount that should last a while. It smells sweet and spice. Applies beautifully to meats as a rub and is always great to sprinkle on pretty much anything. I also like putting it on salad or hamburgers. The taste is delicious and really stands out. These are awesome to have on hand or gift to someone who enjoys meat.

I just got a bottle of this and have since tried it on a couple things. I first put it on some chicken, and I didn't salt it enough so the flavor was quite subtle as the rub isn't very salty (a bonus!). But then I put it on some Spam I was cooking, and I swear, it turned it nigh-indistinguishable from applewood-smoked bacon! I'm willing to bet that if you cooked it super thin and crumbled it, nobody would be able to tell. Delicious, and I'm going to be using this in positively EVERYTHING!

The McCormick grilling mates applewood rub is great on a steak or chicken. Which is the meat I mainly use it on. It makes food have a smoky but slightly sweet flavor. It is very tasty that I use it quite often when grilling meat. I will definitely keep buying this product and recommending it to family and friends who want to put a nice dry rub on meat when grilling. I prefer this seasoning over most of the ones that are liquid that you soak meat in.

We used the seasoning on some pork chops and they came out great! The applewood comes through really well with a smoky sweet flavor. We didn't even need barbecue sauce! We did have to use some salt with the seasoning, but overall we would love to use this again and again.

This seasoning is amazing. The apple wood flavor is so good on just about any kind of grilled food. We tried it on chicken breast, burgers, and steaks. It adds so much flavor. I will definitely be recommending it to everyone. Applewood rub will be a staple in our kitchen from now on.

It added the perfect balance of sweet and smoky flavor to my pork chops. If your family likes BBQ too, I bet it would work even better making some BBQ with it. I was impressed. It does have a coarser grind, which I also really enjoyed, but cooking in a skillet, you do havevto be extra watchfuI not to burn that but I will definitely look to buy this in the future. Definitely recommend this!

I'm normally a bit shy with full ribs that I don't mix myself because they tend to be rather salty. This is one I'll be happy to use going forward. A little goes a long way, but I never felt like it was too much. Even the kids liked it! I think I'll get at least 3 uses out of this bottle which is a pretty great deal.

Even just by taking the seal off of the bottle, I knew it was going to be amazing. It smelled so good that I immediately put it on some broccoli I had just cooked. And it was delicious. I have since put it on chicken, other grilled and roasted vegetables, and even in my cottage cheese. It has an amazing flavor (and I'm really picky about smoky flavors, but this one is just right) and is unlike other spices I've tried before. I love it!!!

It's a great hot sauce but it isnt spicy enough. I tried the extra spicy hot sauce they make but still isnt hot enough. The taste is amazing but I need hotter
