My husband made some BBQ Ribs and I figured this would be perfect for the seasoning! We put a little bit of mustard and this seasoning on the ribs and the ribs turned out amazing!! This seasoning brought the ribs to life! Sweet and savory, just the flavor we were looking for!

After receiving this brown sugar bourbon seasoning to review, I waited before using it to make sure I used it on a meal that would give me an honest example of the flavor. I finally used it for my Sunday dinner bbq and I must say at first I was a little nervous after tasting the seasoning itself. I was thrown off by the bourbon taste but trusted the process and so glad I did. After. I seasoned my chicken breast and smoked sausages, I allowed it to marinate for about an hour before grilling. It actually came out really good and there wasn't any need for bbq sauce bc it was surprisingly good but I added a little to take it up a notch! Sometimes season mixes don't have enough salt in them which causes me to add extra but I didn't have to add any. It's going to be a great option for grilling and making wings. I'll definitely get more when I run out.

I chose to try this out on my smoked brisket. I added a few extra helpers, just to enhance the flavor profiles, but this seasoning was certainly a good addition to the brisket recipe. With the smokiness of the smoked brisket, the sweetness that this seasoning provided complimented it really well overall.
