It's an easy and fun way to add flavor to everyday meals and is a great choice for anyone who loves dill pickle flavor. Disclaimer; product received free for an honest review.
I absolutely loved using McCormick Grill Mates Dill Pickle Seasoning on roasted chicken breasts. I was a little skeptical, as pickle-flavored seasonings can be overpowering, but this was perfectly balanced. It gave the chicken a delicious tangy, savory flavor with just the right amount of dill, garlic, and seasoning without tasting overly salty or sour. I got juicy, flavorful chicken with a unique zesty kick that made it anything but boring. The seasoning created a wonderful crust on the outside while keeping the flavor bright and fresh. If you're a dill pickle fan or just looking for a new seasoning to try, I highly recommend this one. I'll definitely be keeping a bottle in my spice cabinet.
I received this product for an honest review, and I'm honestly so impressed! I used this seasoning on some vegetables I roasted to serve with steak, and the flavor was incredible. The tangy, dill pickle taste perfectly balanced the richness of the steak and gave the veggies such a vibrant kick. It's super well-balanced—not too salty at all. It has quickly become a staple in my pantry, and I've been finding myself reaching for it for almost every meal since. Highly recommend!
I get it, pickle seasonings are a dime a dozen at this point. It seems every store and their brother has one and for the most part, they all taste the same. But hear me out on this, the McCormick Grill Mates seasonings is superior. Not only does it have the tangy dill pickle flavor but there's also a subtle taste in the background that's almost kind of smokey? It's hard to describe, but it elevates the pickle flavor
I was worried the pickle flavor was going to be too much, but I made some cheese stuffed burgers replacing my usual seasoning with it and they were actually really good! The flavor blended with the burgers so well, and adding in actual pickle slices didn't ruin the flavor either!
If you're a pickle lover, this one's a must-try. McCormick Grill Mates Dill Pickle Seasoning packs a bold, tangy flavor that really does taste like a classic dill pickle in powder form. I love it on fries and chicken! My son tried it on popcorn and it was a hit. You don't need much at all. A little goes a long way. Packaging has a side to sprinkle and then a side to add a bit more. Would definitely recommend!
I got the product for free in exchange for writing the review, but I am lucky because I love pickles! I like their bottles and caps. Easy to open, but stays closed when it is. I tried the seasoning on popcorn, and it was delicious! Just like Disney's. I'm not too sure I would put it on meat, but I did like it for chip, popcorn, bread type snacks. It would be amazing in some check mix!
I picked up McCormick Grill Mates Dill Pickle Seasoning because I'm a fan of anything dill pickle, and it definitely delivered on the tangy, savory flavor. The blend has a nice balance of dill, garlic, onion, and a vinegary kick that tastes like a classic dill pickle without being overwhelmingly sour. The only downside is that it's pretty heavy on the dill flavor, so if you're looking for a stronger pickle tang, you may find the dill stands out more than the vinegar. That said, if you love dill, it's likely to be a plus. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's a fun, flavorful seasoning that's great for pickle lovers and an easy way to add a zesty twist to everyday meals.
I tried this seasoning on some burgers last weekend, and it's surprisingly addictive if you're a fan of anything briny. It has a sharp, tangy bite that cuts through the fat of the meat perfectly, though you need to be careful with how much you shake on since it's pretty easy to over-salt. It won't replace a full spice rub, but for a quick grill session, it's a fun, easy way to mix up your usual routine.
I don't hate this product, but I don't think I've found the right thing to use it on yet. Tried it on sliced potatoes and it's definitely pickle intensive! I'll try some veggies and chicken next time. A great way to add a salty dill flavor to your favorites!
