my grandson is very picky. he will not try vegetables and he is 7. i tried several gummies with vegetable ingrediants before we tried these. he begs for them and i have to keep them put up. he didnt really care much for the sugar free ones but once i switched to the ones with sugar he loved them.
These gummies have made such a big difference in my 11 year old Autistic son. He started them 1 month ago and has been taking them consistently! He is now making more eye contact, better moods (still has some meltdowns) and has changed so much for the better since starting them.
My grandson has a touch of hyper mixed with bossy boss I gave him these vitamins in the past because he will not eat a vegetable except potatoes. They calmed him after a month or so on them and even the school along with his behavioural modification specialist took notice in how well he acted. when I stopped the vitamins the school began to complain of bad behaviour. I had never heard of hidden hunger or good gut health ...but the other non flavored my x on your food vitamin company ...no names ....that charges 50 a month had commercials that helped me realize my grandsons bad eating was the problem....but the strawberry grun gummies taste great.....and cost only $14.99 a month with the same benefits. My g andson doesn't head bang anymore. He doesn't have sensory issues as much now and rarely has meltdowns....which were a every day thing.
The only reason I don't recommend is because of the taste and texture. Almost taste like the flinstones chalky vitamins but into a gummy with a grainy texture around the whole gummy
Wanted to love this. Love the ingredients and natural forms of these vitamins. Unfortunately my kids don't like the taste and wouldn't even eat an entire serving.
Texture was gritty--of course, because it's full of veggies and mushrooms. Sweetness--awkward and foreign, kinda too much as it's trying to mask the flavor of everything healthy. Shape--unappealingly smashed/deformed. Sticky to handle Experience--creates a lot of foul-smelling flatulence in every family member who trialed them.
It may be a really good product, but A gummy vitamin doesn’t do any good if your child won’t eat it. As an adult, I couldn’t eat it tastes disgusting. They really are going to have to work on the taste. Waste of money for me.
I would love to give these 5 stars, because my kids love them. But this company appears to have serious quality control issues. 3 boxes in a row we've had dozens of packets with only ONE gummy. ONE. These are spendy for a 15 day supply compared to other options. There's really no excuse for this. I even emailed Gruns directly and received no reply. So I can't recommend these to anyone. You don't get what you're paying for.
first of all I didn't realize this was the tiny packets of gummy bears. you have to get your kid to eat an entire pack. what could be so difficult about that you say? well, the color was somewhere between grey and green and they were literally as hard as little rocks. I wouldn't want my child eating these all the time. I'd be afraid it would cause pain in their jaw from chewing such a tough product. I also don't like that sticking in their teeth.
Both my kids thought these tasted disgusting. They smell like vitamins when you open the packets and do not have a good texture. I also bought the adult version, and they are absolutely nasty. Will not purchase again.
