This is an awesome soundtrack (aptly named)! This IS an "awesome mix" of music from a fantastic movie! Also, I like how the actual CD is printed to look like a tape. After seeing the movie, I needed the soundtrack and I wanted the CD so I could more easily listen to it (easier for me than online), and take it in the car. I may actually buy a 2nd CD to keep in the car. The music lifts my spirits (which is a huge feat since my past few years have been very difficult) and I sing along at the top of my lungs. The songs bring my mind right to the scene of the movie, and for some also take me back to my childhood. I love almost every song on this album; there are 2 that are not my faves, but I still find myself singing along. I'm no expert so I can't speak to the quality of the recordings, as I read some other reviewers had (before I purchased), but they sound great to me, and I thoroughly enjoy listening to them!! I recommend this CD for an uplifting great music experience, and if you haven't seen the movies Guardians 1 and 2, please do, they're amazing and will also touch your heart (I was late to the party and just recently saw them, and I was sobbing at the end of both - which surprised me!) I also recommend buying the CD (or tape or vinyl) as some of these songs are by bands that are more obscure, and I hope by purchasing the product they might see some royalties for their awesome music! Highly recommend!!

Great mix of songs heard on the movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. Great quality and good tunes!

This CD has most of the songs from the movie, I just wish there were more.
