Basic no frills belt that works.

Jim November 29, 2025

Basic weightlifting belt that does what I need it to do. Not the fanciest belt out there; you're not going to impress anyone with it.

High Quality and Lightweight

Joe Lenz March 21, 2023

This is far and away my favorite belt I've worn. It feels incredibly high quality, looks great, and is much lighter weight than you'd expect. It's my first time picking up Gymreaper products, and this belt reassured me that they'll be my go to for a long time.

Quick Locking Weightlifting belt

Scott Ichimaru May 31, 2024

I've been lifting a long time and was tired of my old leather belt - ripping holes in my shirts and staining shirts. Found Gymreapers on line and ordered the Locking Weightlifting belt. Quick shipping and delivered as described. The locking system is ingenious. No tears or stains on shirts. It tightens up perfectly and locks in place. Provides all the support I need. Great product

Perfect

Aaron Bennett April 17, 2023

At $35 this is a steal. It works equally as well as leather belts I've owned in the past. I've only had it a week but it looks and feels very well constructed. Definitely go a size down. I did, and I don't regret it. Best bang for your buck, by far, on the market imo.

Great first belt!

Laura Robinson August 9, 2023

This is my first time using a weight lifting belt and so far I have really enjoyed it! The quality of the belt is very good and I appreciate that gymreapers has a lot of supportive information on how to use the belt properly and how to wear it. I'm looking forward to continuing my training with this belt!

Lightweight and stable

Christen Booth October 22, 2023

This belt is more narrow, but can be cinched down so that my back feels well-supported. I'm also a very sweaty muffin, so i appreciate that I can loosen it up for other movements during supersets. This isn't going to be the belt you want for your heaviest, focused leg days.

This is a sturdy belt but it can be difficult to tighten enough to provide support.

Size issue

Brad Snyder September 7, 2024

Love the belt. The issue I have is that I'm relatively new to weight lifting and fitness. I am a larger guy with a waist of 47 inches. This is the lowest end of the 2XL. I needed a belt that would work as I lose weight, and it just would not work. The XL belt though has a gap from 43 to 47 inches. This is pretty tight, but I can manage for now. Only using it for my heaviest lifts as I work on losing weight.

First time buying a belt - shouldn't Have gone cheap

Andrew Peterson January 30, 2023

This was my first time buying a belt and I've used it a few times now. It is hard to get tight, extremely hard to loosen, and stretches more than I was hoping. I'll be buying a leather belt asap The fit was almost perfect though, I got a Med and I'm 6ft2in 215lb with a 34in waist

Kind of Disappointed in the Quality

joe castelli March 14, 2023

In terms of functionality, the belt is great. nice fit and easy to use. provides good support, too. i use it for heavy squat and deadlift sets. my only gripe is the durability. i've only used the belt 3 times and the velcro is already coming off. i knew a velcro belt wouldn't be as durable as a leather lever belt, but this was my first time buying one and i didn't want to spend the $110. if i would've known that this one would fall apart so quickly then i would have spent the extra $70. i know it's only a $30 belt but i was hoping that i would get more out of it.
