They dont appear as heavy as the 5 lb. dumbells that I had been using as the weight is distributed on all 4 sides. These are definitely better for senior citizens.

Function and Gorgeous!
Great design, very well made. Exactly what I was looking for and the dusty pale blue is gorgeous, it's not a baby blue like a nursery would have, it's a more sophisticated pale blue.
