GZILA Garbage Disposal Strainer and Stopper with Decorative Disposal Flange in Black, Fit 3.5 Inch Standard Drain Hole

So far it is the best design I have used. I've had many different designs but this one lets you strain before it gets to the disposal so you're not grinding your good flatware! lol!

I probably would have continued risking my fingers to the ancient strainer provided with the garbage disposal! But someone suggested this replacement and it's so much better! Quiet, clean, simple, %26 safe operation,(no need to push food through!).

No tools whatsoever needed to install this item. Simply push it down over the existing flange and you're done! Two points keep this from being perfect. (1) I leaves a very slight ring of the covered flange exposed, so if your old flange was originally black and the paint has chipped off, you'll be able to see a very slim bit of chrome around the edge of the replacement flange. (2) Since the new flange sits on top of the old, it may sit ever so slightly higher than the floor of the sink, allowing a very small amount of water remaining in the sink right around the new flange after use.

This was a perfect fit. It looks great in the white farm sink.

Because this is black plastic the paint won't scratch off leaving your beautiful sink looking tacky. it is well made. we've had it for about 6 months and it still looks great. would definitely recommend!

Not nearly as good as more expensive and higher rated garbage disposal strainer, but for the price, it will last a couple of years and can rebuy whenever it comes apart.
