This has been a great experience for me • I used to constantly hunt for the separate rubber stopper hidden under soapy water. The stainer and stopper is great addition to the kitchen sink. The stopper helps in stopping of water to pass when popping it in. This way I can de-thaw the frozen food items. Easy to throw leftovers stopped at the top stopper. The holes are sufficient to pass the water when the stopper in popped out. The fitting and metal material is good. My steel sink has sufficient size and metallic ring to cover the hole.

I didn't expect the double layer design, which is great! Able to easily switch from block to in block model with gentle press.

Finally I found one that fit my kitchen sink. The suction needs to be cleaned so the water drains well. It just needs to be clean. The holes help the flow of water. Pipes should not be affected one way or another. Easy to take apart and clean-I use an old toothbrush.

This SAMODRA 3-in-1 kitchen sink strainer and stopper works really well and feels much better than a regular basic sink strainer. The stainless steel design looks clean, fits nicely in the sink, and does a good job catching food scraps without blocking the water flow. I also like that it can be used as both a strainer and a stopper, so it is convenient for washing dishes or filling the sink when needed. It is easy to remove, clean, and put back in place. Overall, it is a simple but useful upgrade for the kitchen sink, and I'm happy with the purchase.

Works great but retains small amount of water that will not drain.

This sink stopper works great if you only want to hold water in the sink. But it is not good for washing dishes. The peg gets accidentally pushed down as dishes are moved around in the process of washing. This causes the water to leak out of the sink prematurely.

within two days it already broke and wont sunction

No matter how much I adjust and move the seal it still doesn't retain the water in the sink. On the opposite end, it should probably have better drainage for collecting the particles as the plastic basket thing fills up fast and has to be cleaned out frequently.
