This is a great little travel cage for a little bird. My cockatiel enjoys going outside with it. No real room to fly around but the view for him is great. It comes flattened and I spent a few minutes pushing it out and making sure the seams weren't in the way of the zipper. Works real nice.

I ordered this travel cage for our 10 week old budgie as I was taking him to the vet for an initial checkup. It is well-made, attractive and ideal for smaller sized birds. My budgie was relaxed all of the time he spent in the cage. Both he and I are quite happy with this purchase.

perfect for smaller birds but bigger birds it's ok for short trips maybe but for longer trips no you would need a bigger carrier or just a medium cage.

This bird carry cage is pefect. It's the perfect size for carrying my parakeet, but you could radily fit a small parrot or dove in it. It's well made and zippers work great.

I love it but my sun conure no problem the first time he got in, after that I have to cover him up and put him in it. When I bring it out to take him with me he goes under the couch. Smart boy:)

There is no problem with it, I just didn't realize I was getting the one with plastic on both sides instead of the mesh, when it literally asked if I wanted mesh or plastic! In my defense I didn't really know what I was looking for yet. The only vents are the door, and the rings along the bottom

The zippers need to be easier to use when you're trying to put a bird in there you can't be fiddling with difficult closures. Also, I do not understand why they put nice fine mesh on the side. And thicker mesh on the door and behind the pocket. The thicker mesh would be easier for the bird to chew because it can get its beak into the holes. Why not just use the fine mesh on all of the areas where there is mesh? I am planning to add my own shoulder straps somehow, but this is an acceptable carrier for conures and smaller. As long as they don't chew very much. It is also not very sturdy (but it does hold its shape) so you wouldn't want to put it somewhere where something may fall on top of it .

The carrier / cage is cute but it didn't come with a stainless steel tray like the description said when I ordered it , it came with a try one side is like felt and the other is plastic !
