I don't know who was more excited to receive this birdbath, me or my two canaries. One loves baths, while the other (the female, lol) prefers dumping her head in the drinking water and beak-tossing much of it outside of the oversized cage (smaller cages were too difficult so I have them in a large, free-standing cage now). I have MS, so it is much easier to care for the birds when the cage and all the accessories are present). Happy birdies, happy birdy mama. If the happiness of your in-house birds matter, this will repay itself in spades! I can't think of anything I don't like about this bird bath. The size, construction, and appearance, are all perfect.

My parakeets love it. Easy to install, not like other bird baths which are very complicated. This one is very simple to install and looks good and fits almost all cage sizes.

This bath works very well. It fits nicely on the cage, and attaches easily. We have 2 birds. They were wary at first, but soon discovered they could both fit in at the same time.

it was just too large for a small cage

not enough water to put in the bird bath, so you would have to refill it every time the bird would take a bath. the plus sign of the bath is they don't get the floor wet when they're taking a bath it stays in the container.
