Removable water tank is a vast improvement over the earlier design. No more spilling water while filling. Just remove the tank and fill, pop back into place with no mess. Program timer to preferred brewing time and when you get up you have nice hot coffee. The 4 hour keep warm function is great, no need to worry if you left it on. The push dispenser is the single greatest function of this coffee maker, no pot to pick up and risk spilling hot coffee. Temperature stays good and hot while machine is on.

This was a gift I sent, however, I have an older model.I have owned since Hamilton Beach created this glorious machine. After breaking another glass carafe I gave up bought a stove top coffeemaker. Then this came on the market! Price is right, great timer, ready when I wake up, and doesn't break. No spills for those groggy mornings! There is a pour feature to fill your “ToGo” cup!

Second time to buy the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Programmable coffee maker. Bought the first one about 10 years ago and really enjoyed the ease of filling my cup. When we moved 12 states away, the people who bought our house liked it, so it stayed. I immediately replaced it when we arrived at the new home.

This coffee maker makes excellent coffee. There's only one thing that bothers me about it and that is that it continues to make a perking/ simmering sound after the coffee is done. I also believe it slightly boils as it makes that noise so I remove the coffee into a carafe.

The light on the front of the machine is too bright. One can hear the simmering during the keep warm cycle (moderately loud). The heating plate was buckled near one of the screws holding it on. We like the idea of the brew station and it performs as expected.

I've been happy with the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Programmable Drip Coffee Maker overall. It's very easy to use, the controls are straightforward, and programming the brew time is simple. Cleaning is also easier than many similar coffee makers I've owned, which is a big plus for daily use. The coffee tastes good, and the warming plate does a decent job of keeping it ready to drink. However, I did notice a small constant humming or buzzing sound while the warming plate is active. It's not loud, but it is noticeable in a quiet kitchen. My other minor complaint is that I would prefer the coffee to be a little hotter, especially right after brewing. It's hot enough for most people, but if you like very hot coffee, you may find it slightly below your preference.

Decorative stainless steel panels are glued on, or at least supposed to be. mine were sitting at the bottom of the box. The pot slides too easy. Delayed, broken and no reasonable choices for what to do

Once it was completely brewed it leaked all over my counter. I tried several times with different levels of water so I know it wasn't overflowing. I have been using this brand and make for at least 5 years and now I will have to switch :/

We were excited to get my mother a gift she would love and we got a defective machine. It also came with a lot of scratches on the top and sides. We thought okay maybe just packaging but when we set it up it didn’t do anything. Simple instructions but it would dispense coffee or even take any water to start making it. Very disappointed.

Does not get hot!! Coffee is like learn after brewing! Have to put cup of coffee in microwave after dispensing a cup and f coffee! After sitting for a hour starts to warm up would not recommend this coffee maker!! I am so disappointed it took me a few days to decide on what coffee maker I wanted and took this one b cause of the brand name!! If I wanted ice coffee would have bought one with that feature!!
