when I unpackaged it, it had some sort of red sauce on the front of it and there was a hair in where the coffee filter and coffee goes! The cord wasn't wound up as if it would have been if it was actually new and never opened or used! No plastic cover for the plug! And it was scratched up!! I waited over a week for it and now it has to go back! Good thing I have a back up 4 cupper! I ordered a NEW one! Not one that someone tried out and didn't like it! Someone needs to do better!

i've been buying these H-B brewstations for over 20 yrs ... because they "HAD" such highly visible %26 depeñdablè clocks, even though the machines only lasted 6 to 8 mos. About a year %26 a half ago the clocks were switched over to a crappy mfgr and machines are defective on first day ! i went thru 3 in one week and Walmart quit accepting returns on them. NEVER AGAIN !!!

okay, i just now got my first cup of coffee from this Hamilton beach coffee maker and it works great. i also just bought a cheaper hamilton beach coffee maker for $54 dollars and it was junk. spend the money and get the stainless steel coffee maker. I've had one of these before and that's why I bought another one. no coffee pot to mess with just put your cup up to the button and like magic there it is.

This is my favorite coffee pot of all time. There is no carafe to break and the coffee stays warm up to four hours. I like the programmable feature, and I set up coffee every evening to be sure I wake up to hot coffee on these cold mornings.

The item came it was very flimsy. The top was broken off. I have to tape it on. The metal part at the bottom is not secure.. I've always had this type of coffee maker, but they sure are not making them like they used to..

I've been happy with the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Programmable Drip Coffee Maker overall. It's very easy to use, the controls are straightforward, and programming the brew time is simple. Cleaning is also easier than many similar coffee makers I've owned, which is a big plus for daily use. The coffee tastes good, and the warming plate does a decent job of keeping it ready to drink. However, I did notice a small constant humming or buzzing sound while the warming plate is active. It's not loud, but it is noticeable in a quiet kitchen. My other minor complaint is that I would prefer the coffee to be a little hotter, especially right after brewing. It's hot enough for most people, but if you like very hot coffee, you may find it slightly below your preference.

Removable water tank is a vast improvement over the earlier design. No more spilling water while filling. Just remove the tank and fill, pop back into place with no mess. Program timer to preferred brewing time and when you get up you have nice hot coffee. The 4 hour keep warm function is great, no need to worry if you left it on. The push dispenser is the single greatest function of this coffee maker, no pot to pick up and risk spilling hot coffee. Temperature stays good and hot while machine is on.

The reviews for this BrewStation weren't as good as some of the other models, but I took a chance anyway - and SO glad I did! My ultimate goal was convenience, and I chose this model for its external water reservoir (not like the Summit model where you have to fill up the container and dump it back in its internal reservoir, seems insignificant maybe, but it eliminates a step!). It's easily programmable, stays on/hot up to 4 hours (and actually stays hot without leaving a burnt taste!), and is easy to clean. Most negative reviews stated that the condensation ruined this machine. Once I used it I could see why. Just like a regular coffeemaker with a carafe, the filter tray gets hot and full of condensation. The only difference here is that you have the internal tank with the warmer element under it. I figured it's only common sense to make sure that element stays dry. It takes me a whopping 10 seconds to wipe down all the condensation from the lid and whatever drips down near the element when you remove the tank for rinsing, making those bad reviews irrelevant- don't be lazy, take care of your stuff! I love this BrewStation and everyone who has used it has said they want one! I would highly recommend it!

I have a had a "no carafe" Hamilton Beach coffee maker for almost ten years. And then it died! ( I'm a 12 cup, plus, everyday coffee drinker.) I was devastated when I thought they did not make them anymore... This one is even better than my old one. Has several more features, plus iced coffee (cool)!!!! Easy to program and to see the controls right on the front at eye level. Especially like the silver and black finish. Very aesthetic! Love the fact that I can go ahead set up coffee to perk for the next day and not have to dump the coffee reservoir first. Will have to change the shelf height where my coffee maker sits as the new one is a bit higher than the old one (About 1/2 inch!) which interferes in removing the reservoir and filter basket! Otherwise, it is super and a great deal at the price!
