I used a similar one at out American Legion post and decided to get one for myself. I could not believe how cheap it was do I was Leary, but the reviews were good so I got it. Now I wonder why I waited so long. Making a quick snack or even lunch for the kids takes no time. If you are thinking about one this is the one to get.

I finally broke down and bought a deep fryer. I found this 2 liter model for $19.88 and figured for that price it was OK if I didn't like it. Well our first batch of chicken tenders my son wouldn't quit talking about, better than Chick-fil-a. I figured there was going to be a mess of splatter to clean up but the counter was CLEAN. Basket has a hook for when you take it out of the oil and you can leave the lid on the basket. It did make a bit of steam and vaporized oil so you don't want to use it under your cabinets.

This is an excellent deep fryer. It doesn't take up too much space on my counter and is very easy to use and clean. I have fried a variety of foods, from french fries to battered chicken. It comes with a lid that has a vent to allow steam to escape and a small window that allows one to see inside while frying. It comes with 1 basket, a removable handle for the basket, the heating element that can be easily lifted out. The fryer itself is made up of 2 separate parts, the outside shell and the inner part that holds the oil, which can be lifted out of the outside shell for easy cleaning. The maximum temperature to which it can be set is 375 degrees Fahrenheit. The ready light comes on when the oil has reached the desired temperature, and it heats up quickly. Fried foods taste great and aren't very greasy either.

I was actually looking for a smaller deep fryer, not as small as 1 liter. So here goes, I went for this 2 liter. Well, it says 2 liter but if you want to pile up a little more food to fry, I meant to say more than just a thin layer on the bottom of frying basket, you are actually going to have to add more oil. And yes, the container safely can handle 1 more liter of oil leaving enough space for bubbles and without causing any hazardous situation. So yes, if you are not strictly looking for a smaller fryer, but are undecided between 2 or 3 liters, you should go for it. Whats more. The heating element is well built from durable material. For me it did not change the color from the first time use unlike another brand I shouldn't mention here. Other advantages of this types of deep fryer such as easy to clean etc. etc. Only one con: since it is a little longer, it is not very deep, which can be compensated by adding more oil. But if you are too conscious about depth, there are other products available in the same size. Overall it's a good product and perfect for my need.

I am rather careful when I purchase anything. I research everything before I buy. The ratings were good for this product so I purchased it when I saw that it was on sale. I have used it several times now and I cannot find anything wrong with it. I grew up in a family restaurant where we had deep fryers, this is simply a mini version of a real deep fryer. It heats up quickly, and it is very easy to use. The booklet it comes with offers a temperature guide as well as cooking times for most everything you would use this for. Its very important to cook following these instruction so that you don't end up with greasy food. I have made French fries that came out perfect. I also made fried chicken legs which I had always cooked in a cast iron pan before but I think they came out better using this. It is very sturdy, so I didn't feel uneasy about using. This is a great product at a great price.

I am so happy I made the choice to purchase this item. It heats up fast. I saved a few $'s and it matches my other red appliances. My food isn't greasy when done.

This is a good sized deep fryer for a medium sized household. It uses a minimum of 4 cups frying oil and the oil can be filtered and stored in refrigerator for repeated use (5-10 times). We debated about buying an air-fryer instead but the air fryer technology isn't perfect yet and they are pretty expensive. To justify our health conscious side, although we put quite a bit of oil in the deep fryer, the amount of oil used by the food is not a lot because we can pull out >85% oil for next use (not counting the oil that gets burnt ). The deep fryer design is not perfect though, I would like to have the coils heating the bottom of the pan rather than being submerged in oil, which takes up quite a bit of oil space. Also, the oil smell in kitchen is unavoidable even when using the lid.

I am very happy with my deep fryer, I bought it on sale and for the price it is well worth every penny. It heats up fast and temperature stays consistent. I gave it 4 stars because I wish the frying basket was deeper, it holds only a few pieces of chicken/fish. To cook more pieces I don't use the basket, just drop meats directly into the oil to fry twice as much at one time, then place meats in basket to drain as usual. I also bought the product protection plan because replacing at the price I paid would be difficult. I use it often with no problem. Advice: The cord is short with magnetic breakaway attachment therefore place the fryer very close to the electrical source for worry free frying.

This thing does such a good job it's made me fat. Only problems are the cover is difficult to drain and the heating element is difficult to clean. But the size is great, the basket is big. Over 2 years of very regular use and it's still going strong. Good buy.

I bought this online and decided to open it when I have family in town. Well I had to go the old fashion way because the machine turned on for a few seconds and then it stopped working.
