Bought this for frozen biscuits. Even though Pillsbury states 21 to 25 minutes this little machine did it in about 12 minutes at 375. Placed in cooking sheet pan that's I placed on lower level, set to BAKE, set to 375 which is between 350 and 400, turned timer to 22 minutes but within 12 minutes the biscuits had risen and were golden brown on both top and bottom and soft and fluffy in the middle. A nice machine for anywhere especially small spaces.
It works great for me as I am alone and cook for myself. I purchased this item because of the size as I only had 15 inches of space which this fit into perfectly. The only problem I have a times is to be able to see the settings easily but as I get used to it I have probably memorized the settings.
This toaster takes up less space than my older oven which is good. I was happy to find such a pretty red! We find the toaster super easy to use and it does what we need. We mainly use it for warming, broiling chicken sausages for breakfast. We have toasted muffins and warmed cupcakes. We are very happy with the toaster.
I love this toaster oven. It's my 2nd purchase of this same item which I bought 4 yrs ago. I then decided to stop using my microwave since this toaster oven could do more: toast, broil, bake, reheat everything etc. Another plus is that it is the perfect size , not taking a lot of space on the counter.
We love our new toaster oven. It makes great toast on any kind of bread, thick or thin. It also makes sandwiches, like grilled cheese and tomato, and snacks, too. Like miniature homemade oatmeal cookies, and mini muffins. No regular toaster going to do this. We ditched our run of the mill toaster. This one is also so much easier to clean. It can do everything a regular toaster can do, but a lot better, and so much more. It takes up very little space on your countertop. It is very easy to use. A lot cheaper than using the stove or oven. It would make a wonderful gift for an elderly person, too. It is so easy to use. My kids love it. I love it.
Positives: Compact toaster oven that does not take up much counter space. Negatives: Outside of toaster oven gets extremely hot when in operation.
Needs to be watched constantly. Toast can burn in seconds and needs to be flipped to darken the other side. Waffles and biscuits get too hard and the oven gets very hot. Watch out for burns from the door when removing food from the oven. Miss my black and decker. Burn from door attached photo.
Doesn't keep the heat when cooking. Takes twice a long to cook anything. I had a Hamilton Beach Toaster oven for 20 years that worked great until I accidentally broke the hearing element. This was the same one except red. I would not recommend this one.
Just to make toast requires three different knobs to be set in the proper position. This unit also has an automatic turn off when the temperature gets too high which means longer wait time for your toasted items. I'm already looking for a new toaster...%23disappointed
The door hinge fell off after only four months of usage. And the hinge looked already has rust on it. I can’t push hinge rod back to holding hole. I don’t want to take the whole door because of worrying breaking the glass door or can’t put the spring back in. My toasts keep getting sticking to the rack and I have to literally use a butter knife to scrape the crumbs off the rack. My other toaster last me more than six years. I sent in a request six days ago and no answer…what happened to customer service and quality warranty anymore?!
