Hamilton Beach 8-Cup Electric Deep Fryer with Basket, Red

Cooks perfectly!!! I change oil every 3 weeks because I use it every other day! Although I have an air fryer, this is so much more convenient. When the basket drains after cooking, the food is not saturated with oil, as one might think. I recommend this particular fryer SO much that I have also bought them for my daughters and my newly married grand daughter!!! I can only rave about my satisfaction!

I have had this before. Basket is shorter than it was the first time I had one. Still great overall. Easy to clean just dump it into an empty vegetable oil jug with a funnel and then use dawn inside, and rinse thoroughly. Heats up fast, cooks fast, oil lasts many cycles in it.

I love this deep fryer! It heats up quickly and cooks evenly, so fries, chicken, and onion rings come out crispy every time. The basket is a good size for family portions, and cleanup is pretty easy with the removable parts. The red color also looks great on my counter. For the price, it's a solid fryer that does the job well!

Works better than prior expensive deep fryer that I paid triple the price for. Easy to set up, only took minutes heating up. I made absolutely perfect fresh French fries and chicken cutlets, crispy and golden. No splatter, easy clean up and cut my cooking time to half.

just the right size for two people or single person, heats up quickly, right size basket deep enough and not too wide, the only negative thing i can say is it's very flimsy made as far as the outside and the top, the oil basin seems to be made thick and should last. overall it does what it's supposed to do it cooks the food and doesn't take up much space at all. You won't cook a huge amount but the basket it's just right size for about 6 big cheese sticks, or wings, i've cooked orka, 4 big egg rolls, about a XL order of french fries.

Very impressed. Great little unit for the price. Perfect for 2 people. Easy to clean. Does a great job of frying to a golden brown: French fries, frozen %26 battered seafood, even made onion rings coated in corn starch with salt %26 pepper. They turned out great! Highly recommend!! But Note: the cord is very short.

Installation very very easy!! Love this fryer the first time I used it! I made fried chicken wings (5 wings in one batch) and then home made shrimp egg rolls (4 egg rolls in one batch) to perfection!! I put the temp on 350F and when the ready light came on which didn't take a long time...BOOM!! Fantastic golden brown chicken wings and shrimp egg rolls!! I didn't drain the oil until a day or two later (because you have to wait for the unit to totally cool off) and you can then drain the oil to filter out the crumbs. It's easy afterwards to wash the container! Make sure it's thoroughly dry before you put it back into the unit!! I'm very happy I selected this fryer!!

gave a one star rating and no to recommend because I never received the fryer. because the delivery process screwed up. I never got a chance to use the fryer. the delivery was the worse delivery attempt I have ever experienced. The fryer was scheduled for delivery on 11/26, I had email telling me delivery was rescheduled. then I get a email saying my delivery was at my local walmart. I called Walmart two days later and asked when it would be delivered and I was told when ever a ups or FedEx picks it up. then a few hours later I get an email saying my delivery was canceled. so the bad rating I give is because of the delivery process.

False advertisement!!!!!!!!! I never get my order,I ordered it twice at walmart website and after 5days they cancelled my order 2 times they did it to me.. I called warmart and it took more than an hour before i get somebody to pick up the phone then i've been told to re purchase again the item but then again they cancelled my purchase after 5 days. Walmart you have to do something or else i will going to report you to Business of bureau !!!!!

I bought this deep fryer in February of 2024....8 months later (October), it stopped working completely! I went to plug it in one night to make fries with supper, and it would NOT respond in any way after plugging it in. No lights, did not heat, nothing! I always change the oil every 1-2 months depending on the usage. There shouldn't be ANY WAY for this item not to last AT LEAST a year from date of purchase. When it worked, it was perfect! I loved it!....now I'm sorry I bought it because I have to now find a new one. This is a NAME BRAND item, and I truly expected better quality. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend.
