Item is an upgrade of an older Hamilton Beach manual slow cooker. The programable aspects is great with being able to adjust time for high to low slow cooking and automatic warming when cook time is complete. When compared with other brand names and options this item fit our needs and pricing was reasonable.
I love this crockpot, my first time using it. So easy to use, works as advertised. Great price and you can't go wrong. The whole house smells so good right now.
Delivered in less than 24 hours! Walmart packaging and product packaging were stellar. Perfect size for smaller families or singles. I love the lid holder. Big surprise...the lid holder doubles as a cord holder for storage. I hate loose cords, so I was excited about that. The most important feature for me is that it is programmable. I've never seen a slow cooker with 2 hour increments for cooking. The safety feature of automatic shutdown after 14 hours gave me peace of mind because I can be forgetful at times. I'm very excited to use it. Now to find the perfect recipe.
I'm quite happy with this slow cooker. Haven't had one for many years so I forgot how convenient they are to use. The lid hanger is a plus, except it does drip because it's hanging, I guess that's better than a puddle on the sink or floor. overall a very nice cooker.
This crock pot was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. Her small apartment does not have a range. She cooks on a hot plate and uses a toaster oven. She was excited to open her gift and even more excited when she saw what it was. She cried a little because it would make her life easier. She mentioned the lid holder too with a smile, "Oh yeah it holds the lid too". She pre preps meals and freezes them. So this would be great for that. I have always liked Hamilton Beach products so gave her first one.
I love my Hamilton Beach slow cooker. I really rook my time and researched a lot of slow cookers before picking this one. even though it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, for me, less is more. it is an awesome appliance and an awesome brand. I have no complaints, and it stays in heavy rotation in my house.
Merry Christmas to me! My old crockpot finally got a chip so I had to get rid of it. I love crock pots. My husband had purchased a large oval one, and I had the smaller ones for side dishes, but I needed a medium sized one. Almost like the 3 little bears, but crock pots. I picked this one because of the size, the lid holder and cord wrapper, and choices on digital. I bought it and didn't wait for Christmas just opened and used it. I love it 🥰 Now I have a total of 5 crockpots. It's great for Holidays and company. I set up an electric strip on my counter and plugged them in, and neatly wrapped the wires. I'm just keeping them there for the holidays, already used them a few times! Easy to use, easy to clean, works great. Looks just like picture.
For years have been a Crockpot brand family, but needed a larger capacity cooker. (holds 3 large bone-in chicken breast's). Nice looking product, love removable crock! Cooking selection panel is only hours, no half hours. Lid id thin, will break if not used w care.
This slow cooker crockpot is a good value for the price. It cooks evenly on both high and low. It's fairly way to clean up. The dishwasher safe stoneware %26 crock and lid are a plus, otherwise, it's a bit awkward cleaning by hand, The only little negative is the digital function. It doesn't really say “On” when switched on. It begins cooking on whatever the last setting . You just have to figure that because the light is on and you make a selection it's staring to cook.
The first one I received had a defect in the inside coating (a definite bare spot where the glaze hadn't properly covered the stone). The second one was fine. It heats well and is easy to use. However, the lid is kind of terrible. It doesn't sit well on the top of the pot, and so when taking it to a party the lid rattled like crazy in the car and didn't seem stable. My old slow cooker had a "lid lock" to keep the lid on for transport and I didn't realize I would miss that feature so much.
