It says it's for 8 cups. But the "fill line" is only for a cup or 2 of ingredients. Not sure if I am misunderstanding, but cannot process as much food as I hoped. It does a great job of chopping and shredding cheese though. Despite the size it's a good buy.
the shredding blade is easy to clean and it is awesome for making hashbrowns. the whole product is amazing
I used this for the first time last night to puree strawberries for freezer jam. It worked really well. I especially like the bowl scraper as it comes in very handy.
I like the bowl scraper. Also, this processor is more efficient than my last one. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Good price for an efficient food processor
Love this processor! Finally got a large enough one to accommodate my needs. It's easy to operate and the lid goes on/off easily. The scraper works well.
This one is GREAT! Just made chicken salad.
This processor slices and shreds great. It has plenty of power for dough mixing. I don't like the bowl scraper since it is light weight and I was afraid it would break in my dough. Others may enjoy this feature.
It's an impressive item, I like it a lot. It's just way bigger than I expected and not really great for what I wanted it for. I'm making baby food and I have a baby food maker that I found doesn't purée some foods well enough for my 6 month old to not gag on it (like steamed apples) and I got a good processor hoping to mediate my dilemma. It's a great product, just doesn't puree what I put in it because it's too big and I don't make enough volume for it to function well for me. I'll just have to use it for other things. Baby can't have apples for now I guess. Oh well.
I was disappointed with the way this machine functioned. I tried to shred potatoes and they were pulverized and reduced to practically water using only on pulse.
It is easy to use but the part where you add the food also spits it out. I added the cabbage into the holder and the minute I turned it on to shred the cabbage it also shot it out of the tube. Had to put my hand over the top of it to keep it from flying everywhere.
