Awesome electric skillet, It's huge. Love that the pan and frame aren't permanent and you can switch the plug in to either side and it's easy to wash. My Mom and I love it, you won't be disappointed. If I could give it a ten star rating I would.
The price for what I purchased was what I expected. The product actually arrived earlier than expected so that helped increase my overall satisfaction with the whole process. Only time will tell in the quality of the product, but I have other Hamilton Beach items and those work perfectly.
We bought this electric skillet to replace one that was getting too worn. We really love the nonstick finish on this skillet. It is durable and remains slick even after using it on a daily basis. The ability to remove the entire pan for cleaning is a big plus. It is easy to clean, easy to store, and works very, very well. It has an even temperature for cooking so no hot spots around the edges like our prior skillet.
Great size, love that the skillet comes off to take to table
Works great for making food for a large family
Good quality and easy to use
Absolutely love the size. However, the paint was worn on the handle and there are dents in the bottom of the pan where the screws are underneath. Love it enough to keep it and hope those dont effect it.
I loved this electric skillet at first. It handles just as much food as the big heavy one I usually buy, it's easy to handle, and I love the way it comes apart from the handle - you just lift it up. I was really glad I switched to this, even though it was more expensive. That's until a month and a half of using it. I do use it at least once a week, sometimes more, but after only 2 months it's garbage. EVERYTHING sticks to it. There's a big burn mark over where the heating element is, and I never cook over 300°. I know the heat's not accurate, although I feel like it was when I first got it. It's hott4er than it should be - I can barely cook over 200° without destroying/ burning anything. Returning.
I chose this because it says it reaches to 400 degree but the cord is only rectangular shape and not heating in the middle of the pan. So it takes awhile to get the food cooked. Disappointed.
I despise all the glass lids. Condensation forms terribly and the liquid seeps between the glass and the metal rim. I've just used for the first time and will be returning.
