Hamilton Beach Flexcut 2-in-1 Automatic Electric Can Opener, Cordless and Rechargeable, Black

I love this can opener, it works on all size of cans super large to small. I will never use it on the base but it ejects easily and can be put back on charger readily. This is my second Hamilton Beach, the old one had a recharge cord. I think this is a better with a base. The other could get unplugged accidentally. With this plugged in, if the unit's power gets low I think I will still be able to use it on the base.

Opener has a battery charger in base am assuming there is a battery in opener itself that can be used along (separately), used for a week now and holding up well. For large can opening use off charger which I have not tried, makes this opener versatile that way. At this time I would buy again.

I love this project. I would recommend it to everyone, but I know everyone has their own opinion. I always search reviews on everything I get is the only reason why I’m making this I would definitely give it a plus plus plus

I have to say! I am happy my old electric can opener broke. this new one I bought is the best..can take the top off and bring it where it is easier to open cans. 100% love it.

Has been great since I bought it. Love that the top is detachable so I don't need to bring every can to where it is plugged in.

I have been looking for a can opener like this for ages. I love that it's rechargeable and I don't have to worry about batteries, but I can still use it like a regular electric can opener too. They thought of everything when they made this.

Love the fact that you can take off the top unit for larger cans. It took a bit of getting used to, a good tip is you need to line the can parallel with the silver bar/rod that sticks out beneath the blades. Big fan

I an 70 so can't use it off the stand because I don't have the hand strength to keep it at the right angle other wise it works well

Virtually every can opener that I have had, whether it is electronic or mechanical, has been very easy to place at the edge of the can to get it open. This can opener however, I have to lean in and get a good view of where the can is trying to align with the mechanism in order to get it to actually open it May not seem like much, but considering I’ve never had to fiddle with getting a can opened before, wasting the extra 15 or so seconds seems a little annoying. Failing vision vs arthritis: id rather fiddle with aligning the can rather than crank it open… On another note, I would like to say that I chose this one because I find the brand reliable, and that this particular model had a detachable head for opening “oversize” cans and this was a major incentive for me.

The opener works, but because it comes in 2 pieces it can be confusing to use it. Mostly because I don’t use it very often.
