I have 3 of these, all fitted with tobacco filters. I was skeptical at first but after only two days my small home was odor free. A non smoking friend even asked if I'd quit, I'm trying, when she stopped by. The price is right. The results are great. They run whisper quiet. In short I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone.

I bought this because my husband and I both smoke. And I wanted something that would eliminate or cut down on the smoky smell that seems to linger and accumulate. Within a few hours of this unit being turned on, the odor was almost gone. And now when you walk into my home you don't smell cigarette smoke, you smell freshness. I would buy another of these units in a heartbeat. And I plan to purchases another one for my bedroom. And even with the cost of replacement filters, I think this is a good buy and good product. The filters are not as expensive as some I have used or seen online. And I think the additional money spent for them is worth it.

I placed one cross the room from the other in my living room and it is great. You could never tell (open area livingroom/kitchen) I was or did cook fish or anything else. Are a baby still in diapers or for that matter an old dog the sweats and stinks worse then a room for of guy. I honestly did not think it would do the job but I was delightfully surprised.

Every thing about the unit is as advertised but, my only issue is with the filter replacement monitor. I will not trust it because I've only run the unit for a day or two and the monitor is more that 30% into the red so I will not replace the filters based on that. Other than that it seems to be exactly as advertised and a very good value.

My mother in law is 87 years old and requires a portable potty chair in her bedroom. No matter how many times a day that we clean it there was a definite smell in the room that mingled with the stale smell of her never wanting a window open. We tried room fresheners, but they did nothing to eliminate the odor, only covered them up. We didn't want to put an air cleaner in her room because they tend to lower the temperature and she stays cold even in 90 degree weather. I found the True Air Room Odor Eliminator after searching for over a month for some answer to our problem. We have it sitting beside the chair and it stays on Hi at all times, she doesn't even hear it and we feel that it is not much more than a low hum. It is wonderful to walk into her room or walk by it and not have any smells offend. Thanks Walmart for making the "ship to store" process so easy.

Works great for a small room. After 3 or 4 days, the room smelled noticeably fresher. And it runs quietly, with just a low, soothing hum. I liked the small size too. The 3 carbon filters will have to be changed every 2 or 3 months, but that's what makes the product work so well.

Works great in my small sewing room keeping cigarette swell out of the air. Quite on low setting but on high you can hear it. The noise is not nerve racking, its in the background.

My husband and I are both smokers, and now after using this product, no one could tell we smoke. Does a great job of removing odors and the smoke from the air quickly and quietly. And I find cleaning much easier and faster, there is no smoking residue in the room. Very pleased with this product.

I bought this since I smoke. It really pulls the smoke out of the room. It uses 3 carbon filters, one on each side and exhausts through the back. It has a scent pack that only gives a slight, not overbearing scent. I've tried other more costly and noisy units, but this one actually works better. It's quiet too! It is about as loud as the fan in a desktop PC when set on high. It has 2 speeds. I leave it on high. It comes with one set of filters in the True Air. When you get the unit, open the unit and remove the plastic wrap from the filters inside the the True Air. Watch when you take them out. One is different. Put them back in the same way after removing the wrap. It has a little bubble pack you squeeze and it mounts in the front of the cover. It supposedly tells you when it's time to change. I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I ordered one pack of extra carbon filters when I bought the unit. Definitely order extra filter packs. Each pack has 3 filters which is one replace set that will last for one month. Scent pack are sold seperately, but not required.

Product does what was advertised. Positioning makes a difference, logic, smoke rises...much better results placing fan on top a shelve in smoking corner. The smell is not removed but the eye burning chest constricting smoke is washed out of the air. Leaving it run constantly is a better benefit also.
