Honeywell Air Purifier Replacement Filter, HRF-AP1, A Pre Filter, 1 Pack

I have been looking for these! They are an "A" rating. The store only carried the "A+" for double the price. I don't have any risk for gaseous infiltrates; so I don't need the "A+". I am so thankful that Walmart.com carried what I wanted, for a good price!!

Arrived in a timely manner. I ordered 3 exra pre-filters so I wouldn't run out. THey are easy to put in and do a good job taking the odors out of the air. The room smells so fresh and clean after 30 minutes on high. No cooking odors or cigarette smoke. I am well pleased. The price was reasonable too. Thanks Walmart.

We have used the Honeywell HEPA filters in our house to control dust %26 allergens. These pre-filters really extend the life of the HEPA filter and are easy to cut to size.

I apologize about what happened With this item, I feel really bad. ok so I ordered the filter thinking it was the actual hepa Filter for the 17000 S series Honeywell, air purifier. And when I was talking to my friend about the price, I said you know that may have been a prefilter. So when I went back online and checked it, yes it was just the prefilter. I canceled the order immediately and everything was canceled on your end no problem. But..... for some reason it was still sent to me. i feel like i got it free. i feel bad. thanks wal mart

My Honeywell 110 Hepa Filter, purchased in mid 90's, uses these prefilters. Yes, they have to be cut to fit, but that is not a problem for me and they provide a pattern sheet to match to the filter being replaced. I'm happy to have a convenient and reasonably priced source - Walmart.

I am trying to rid my apt of the smell of second-hand smoke (smokers below me and next to me on both sides). The Honeywell air purifier does a "good" job, but I think that for my 630-sq ft one bedrm apt, I will need another unit for the bedroom. It does have a handle on top and can be moved easily (weighs 18 lbs), but I think I need to have two units running simultaneously. As a "recovered" smoker, the stench of cigarette smoke is really offensive and I'll do just about anything to get rid of it, short of moving. The second unit should do the trick and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality air purifier at an affordable price.

It's a hassle to have to cut these. Next time I'll probably spend a little more and get the ones that are precut.

I have a Honeywell air cleaner and I've had it for about 5-years and have never had a problem until now. The last time I bought prefilters, I bought a compatible brand that wasn't Honeywell. The red light came on to check the prefilter. I immediately took out the new compatible prefilter and ordered the Honeywell brand prefilters. I didn't use the machine again until I installed the Honeywell brand today and cut it according to directions for my air cleaner. As soon as I turned it on, the red Check the Prefilter light came back on. I'm disappointed and concerned about why this would happen. The air cleaner continues to run and is doing a good job - but the red light won't turn off.

Overpriced compared to competitors, but hopefully better quality. But the fact that such a small filter is so expensive is ridiculous.

When I ordered the Honeywell pre-Filter I thought I would be getting the same Pre-filter that can with the unit. The one I received had to be cut and it was very messy to do so because the black carbon went everywhere. Be sure to cut it outside.
