It is durable. Plastic breaks becomes brittle. The thick glass bowl is much better. I prefer manual push buttons to plastic pads which wear out quickly. Size of bowl is very usable for foods as well as drinks. The appearance is good. Blades are big enough to handle most everything. Chops foods as well as blends them.
This blender is perfect for the price. Ive never really been one to use a blender but decided to buy this to use at my tiki bar. Now i use it at least weekly. It has a dicing setting for making salsa as well as a puree and milkshake setting. It has a setting for self cleaning. All settings work perfect. I wanted a blender that worked well, was less expensive, and looked nice. This blender does all three.
I like this blender bcause it gets the job done. I also love the spoon that was equipped with it. I dont like that the cord is so short, but thats only personal preference for myself. I like appliances with longer cords. I've used it several times since delivery. I always advise people to wash things before usage, including clothing. In conclusion Ive been able to make my own garlic paste with this blender thats how well it worked for me. Keep it clean and it should last a nice while.
Works good ,blends well but take time ,don't put too much pressure on it,bottons good ,cup good easy to clean
glass pitcher is nice but after about a month of use quit working
The buttons stick when in use I think it's defective very odd how all the buttons get al pushed in at the same time it could be a dangerous electrical issue I think it should be recalled the motor has no power too
I bought this blender specifically to make healthy smoothies for my daughter and I. On our second day of use; we began to make more smoothies. Adding semi-thawed frozen fruit and veggies; with no ice cubes. All of a sudden we smelt this horrible burnt electrical smell. As soon as I removed the glass pitcher; we saw small reminiscence of smoke coming from the base. As soon as I turned the base over; more smoke kept bellowing out. I immediately unplugged and put outside our deck; not knowing if this thing was going to catch fire or what. Also the burnt electrical smell was horrible. I should have known, when I went to the online pick up counter; and the checkout person, asked if it was ok that the box was damaged. It had a medium size puncture on the side; so it's my fault for taking that extra chance, by continuing with my purchase. I'm not saying that's what caused the motor to blow up. However, I do have a weird feeling Wal-Mart might have given me an already (known) defective product. Either way, the damage is done (literally). All in all, the price was great; and it blended nice the first day. Only main issue I had with it; besides the motor burning up. The lid to this thing was SUPER hard to remove! Which made it frustrating, when having to re-add ingredients or clean. Also, if you plan to make smoothies on a daily basis; I don't think this thing will stand the test of time, IMO.
It barely blended. Stopped working on the 3rd use
This thing couldn’t even chop a frozen blueberry or a fresh banana. The top was way too hard to get off too. It’s a pice of junk. I’m returning it. What a waste of time and money
Completely disappointed with it. It just doesn't work, doesn't do anything its supposed to do. I have to soend 6 or 7 times stirring and pushing (helping) it to produce anything. I'm returning it. The cheaper walmarr brand is much better!
