I like the power button on the side. This prevents any turn on by an accidental hit on a button. I like the gasket is attached to the bottom piece, no need to worry about losing it or it getting damaged while cleaning. Blenders are noisy. However, this one is less loud that other blenders I have used. It blends so fast, that I operate it for less time making it more pleasant not having to listen to it for as long. It blends quicky and effortlessly. I am very happy with this purchase.

The blender seems to hesitate no matter what button you push and what consistency it is. It may be the "Wave Action" as I don't know what that is exactly, but I imagine it is some kind of pause action or hesitancy, because that is what it seems to do, no matter what setting I use. I just bare with it because I went through too much to get this blender and it IS quite easy to use. I love making smoothies of all kinds. It's kind of fun actually.

When making a smoothie, I have to continuously push the ice and frozen chunks down to the bottom to get cut up. They also get stuck underneath the blades. It feels like it struggles to do what it is supposed to do … it doesn't do a good job at mixing at all. All the settings feel like they do the same thing.

This blender is okay. It looks nice, and will get the job done. The reason for the low rating is many; the life is terrible to get off, the machine runs while lid is off, the pitcher does not lock into the base, the buttons don't always work without holding them down, and the blending takes longer than normal. Just save the time and money and buy the next step or two up. I bought this in a pinch.

The lid is a flex rubber vs hard plastic and it is very hard to get it on the blender. Doesn't seal properly. That's my main issue. The second issue is the fact that it doesn't pull the fruit from the top to the bottom I keep having to stop and turn off manually. Honestly this is the worst blender I have ever used. I recommended just buying something else.

I've used it 4 times, %26 it still makes a bad grinding sound that it definitely shouldn't be doing. There is a stop button, but none of the buttons stay on. I have to hold them down for it to work. Of course I should not have to. Otherwise why have a stop button?

1. The blender does not have 800 watts of power as noted by manufacturer. The blader struggles due to lack of power, and it sounds as though like the blade is having a hard time spinning. 2. The quality of the product is not what it used to be. When blenders were made years ago. 3. Be careful when contacting the manufacturer. They ask you questions based on how you were using the product to see if you damage the product And quick to blame you for not using the owner's manuals , instructions instead of warranting the product for engineer failures with the design of this blender. The customer service is quick to blame. 4. Also had damage done to the outside packaging of the product. Why would this ship the product in its own box? Here are the results. See the pictures attached. 5. I would not recommend this product.It should be removed.

Simply put, this is a horrible product. It would not even chop a sliced cucumber. My little chopper that's years old did a much better job. Although it's inexpensive, you would expect even a little bit of quality for your money. DO NOT buy this product. I am very sorry that I did.

This review is not about the product itself, but the customer service from Walmart. We ordered this blender online. When we came to pick it up, the entire box was damaged. What company/business would give customers a damage product? Unbelievable!! I have come across many Incompetent Walmart employees, but to hand a blender to a customer with the box so damaged, it looks like the product and box have been altered and used. SMH!!!

can't believe it. hamilton beach is a great name. i was sure this would have been a perfect end-of-year gift for ME. turns out i could not budge the collar/blade assembly for prep of first use. i would have needed a hammer and chisel. returned. so sorry, hb!
