Hanes Women's Comfort, Period. Underwear, Super Leak Protection Period Panties, 3-Pack

After my recent adventure in "period panties" that appeared to be made from hopes, dreams, and a single layer of tissue paper, these Hanes period underwear were a revelation. They're comfortable, absorbent, and actually perform the radical task of being period underwear. Imagine that. I've worn them overnight with zero issues, zero leaks, and zero anxiety-induced trips to the bathroom to make sure everything was still under control. They fit well, feel comfortable, and don't feel like you're wearing a diaper or medieval armor. At this point, I'm convinced Hanes employed the groundbreaking strategy of asking, "What if we made period underwear that actually worked?" Then they did exactly that. Worth every penny. I honestly can't find anything negative to say about them, and trust me, I usually can.

I got these because you get three for the price of one of the other brands. Wore them yesterday for the first time and was able to wear them for hours even while I was out fishing. When it came bedtime, I was gonna change to my Thinx because I knew for sure they work well, but I messed up and put in the Hanes and no leakage all night! I did go up a size when purchasing just in case and glad I did because they fit like my others that are my size.

I actually have a reusable pad that I clip on to these undies. They're comfortable and easy to clean. I hang and air dry my clothes so idk how they do in the dryer but they're still holding up after almost 2 years of use.

I’m using the same photos as I used for the “no boundaries” review I just did because I want you guys to see the side by side comparison using cheap fabric glue to double stitching. I’ve always been a Hanes fan because they’re a classic,reliable, known for comfort brand. I also like my products 100% cotton. Im mad I paid the same price of these 3 pair underwear for only 2 pairs on the “no boundaries” . They started falling apart after the 3rd wash!!! Waste of money I could’ve spent on another pair of these.

These are perfect for my teenager. She's able to wear these all day without worrying. I was concerned about the rinsing and washing, but it was easy! These are also more affordable and just as effective as other period underwear that I've purchased.

I wish they made a high leg, higher rise cut; low legs always cut in on me. On a heavier cycle day, there was break through at the seams on both sides. I have another brand and it has the same issue. Still a great back up in addition to other personal hygiene methods.

My only issue was the fit. So we recommend to go up a size pass the size chart recommendation. For reference I'm 5ft 7in, 177 pounds a 33 in waist measurement and a 44in hip measurement. I purchased an extra large. They do have a thick lining to help prevent bleeding through accidents. I still use my normal sanitary products of tampons and pads. I use the underwear to prevent having accidents on heavy days.

I coughed a few times (maybe 3 tbsp of leakage) because water went down the wrong pipe, and when I got up to leave the room, there was a big puddle on the bed. VERY EMBARRASSING! I hoped these were everything they claimed to be, but they weren't. They remind me of the pull-up underwear for toddlers, with no backing to actually stop leakage. Only cloth and not very much at that! So happy this didn't happen at the office or in public. These don't catch teaspoons, maybe teardrops!

If you are chubby at all these may not fit right . The absorbing part doesn't go up far enough to be useful. In general the underwear fit it is just the absorption gusset that is inadequate

I've had other brands of periods underwear that I liked, so when I saw Hanes made a similar product, I decided to try them out. Hanes is a great brand, right? But I do not like these AT ALL. The way the pad is sewn in at the bottom makes the underwear feel heavy, like you're wearing a saggy diaper. With my other brands the padded part goes all the way up to the band so it's not hanging down and sagging at the bottom/back. I got 2 different sizes, but even with a tighter set I feel like I have to hike up these underwear all day. I can barely stand to wear these. I'll be buying a different brand and throwing these away.
