Hangman Products No Stud 32-65" TV Hanger Mount

When I first opened the box and found two thin brackets, a few tiny nails, a couple of bolts and a very thin security cable that I would need to use to mount my brand new 30lbs 55” TV on the wall, I was skeptical. Then after I read the installation pamphlet and how easy it was said to install, I was even more doubtful. Too easy, perhaps? Well, I didn't have enough space for a stand or table in the room to hold my TV and I didn't want to drill large heavy-duty screws into the wall that all other TV mounts require, so I had to try this. Another good thing is that installation only requires a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer so this “ No Stud 65 inch TV Hanger” is my best option. It comes with a few different sizes of bolts for you to choose for your TV (4mm-8mm). After you find the correct size bolts, you will need to install the TV bracket onto the back of your TV, and then insert the security cable through the bracket. Then you will need to hang the wall bracket onto the wall with a hammer and nails. It comes with a bubble level that you can use to adjust to level, which was so useful! Finally, just hang the TV bracket over the wall bracket and that's it! Unbelievably simple! By the way, this specific hanger can hold TVs 32-65 inches up to 80 pounds.

I had some doubts if such a small hanger would really be able to hold my 65" Samsung TV safely. The friend I had asked to help since the TV was to heavy to handle by myself asked if I really wanted to give the project a go. He had his doubts as well. About 30 Minutes later the holder was installed and the TV hanging safe and sound. My friend and I were really impressed.

The installation was very easy and zero complicated. The instructions were clear and very simple to follow. Even there is a video on youtube, just in case that you need it that how to install, it's really clear and easy to follow. I had no problem with the installation at all. It fit my television perfectly. I was a little afraid because it seemed like a very simple product, but it worked perfectly for me, it is quite easy to install and effective . So surpriced how a product could help and work so perfectly. 100% recommended!

I wouldnt trust that "most helpful" negative review. Theyve never even used it. they just said the technology "looks" like it wont work, but im sure they arent an engineer. Also, i noticed the review was marked "incentivized" by Walmart, so someone paid them to say that lol With that being said, I was pretty skeptical about this product, but my dad said "youll be fine", so i got it and it works great! Its surprisingly very sturdy. I love it. i have one at home and will use it for my other TVs at my rental. The negative fake review also failed to mention that the nails are placed at an upwards angle making it nearly impossible for it to just "fall out" from gravity. I will say that i do believe if youre in a rental, I would personally get something that requires drilling because I believe its better to deter theft, but for just simple hanging, this is great and reliable Im a small 5'4 woman, and the hardest part for me was lifting the TV itself. But, the mount was completed in about 10 minutes

I was skeptical about this product being able to carry the weight of my 36 inch flat screen tv.., but it is holding it firmly to my surprise. Simple instructions, attaching one bracket to the back of your tv, using a phillips screwdriver, nailing the other bracket to your wall (small nails included), and a security cable for extra safety measures. Everything needed to properly situate, even a small level.

The whole process of assembly and installation was very simple and easy until I got to the "Security Cable." It said to consult the "Security Cable Instruction Sheet" but there was none. So naturally I found their web site but the only thing I saw was a .pdf file to click on. It appeared to be only two pages but I never found out because my computer froze. I could not even get my computer to respond enough to close the tab so I started up my old laptop but it was acting goofy too. My guess is that the security cable is supposed to be attached to the part of the hanger that is connected to the TV and then pulled down and screwed into a stud to prevent the TV from bouncing out of the hanger in case of a major earthquake. I found a couple of YouTube videos and one shows a TV that the cable extends below the bottom of, and the other shows to lift the TV away from the wall, mark the center of the eyelet, remove the TV from the wall, drill a hole and insert a hallow-wall screw anchor, re-install the TV, and lift the TV away from the wall to insert the screw. My particular TV is rather heavy so i used a hex-head screw and tightened it with a small rachet. Included is a large assortment of screws and washers so you are very likely to find the correct screws in the package. Perhaps they also need to include an additional, longer security cable or an extension.. I'm thinking a few inches of metal "plumber's tape and a machine screw and nut might do the trick. I suggest using a very small hammer to attach the hanging strip to the wall because it's easy to accidently hit the wall. I have no doubt that the hanger will be strong enough to support the TVs within the size and weight range stated on the package. It utilizes the same principle as drywall picture hangers which can hold up to 50 pounds or more with only one nail. I suspect this TV hanger has more nails than it really needs. It comes with a cleverly designed level that slips into the wall bracket so you don't even need to go get your level! This product seems to be very well designed and planned, Since the TV rests within the bracket on the wall some right/left adjustment is possible if it was not precisely centered. Now that my TV is no longer on it's stand, setting on top of the entertainment center, there are several wires hanging down that show. I suppose the obvious solution would be to place some decorative items in front of them. They could be threaded through the wall from behind the TV and emerging where they won't be visible, however it would take some rather large holes to accomodate the HDMI cables. There are several YouTube videos that show various ways to hide the wires. I would give it four and one half stars if it was possible, due to the missing instructions.

This is a Great Wall hanger. It is very sturdy and easy to install and the instructions are very informative. I have a little install knowledge but not much, but I was able to figure it out on my own. We are very pleased with this product and would recommend it!!

This product definitely solved an existing need I had. I have always wanted to hang my bedroom television (rather than having it sitting on the dresser). This no stud hanger made that quick and simple. The kit included a bubble level for measuring and bolts from 100mm to 600mm so that it is sure to accommodate all brands of TVs. The installation guide itself is extremely clear and well done. Step by step instructions are easy to follow, there are included diagrams and pictures that are crystal clear, and even the font and writing are easy to read. And because installation is so easy, a single person by himself can complete it in only a matter of minutes. I used mine to hang a 32" television. The only tools required where a phillips screwdriver and a small hammer. The hanger uses tiny picture nails and can be used on drywall, plaster or paneling. The mounting bracket has predrilled holes to guide the nails and forces them into the wall at a downward angle so there is no guesswork needed whatsoever. However, I did get confused for a moment when installing the security cable. Instructions stated to refer to Step One in the included Security Cable Installation sheet. My product packaging did not include one. However, installation was fairly straight forward and I was able to see enough about how to install it by watching the installation video for Hangman products. Also the safety cable is rather long. For hanging smaller tvs it hangs down pretty far and that looks somewhat unsightly. Perhaps the cable could be shorten and/or made adjustable since this installation kit is designed to be used for such a broad range of tv brands and sizes.

With all the parts included the installation was quick and easy. I am only using a 32" television on it. The pros is it easily gets the TV off cabinets and tables and out of the the way. This is really great for a monitor that you to display pictures. The cons are that it is not adjustable as some of the swing arm ones are. It is more like hanging a picture. On the whole it is a good deal for the home DIY with very little experience.

This item was easy to use and not bulky like other similar items. Attacking to a stud to secure the weight of your TV is still important in my opinion. It was easy to attach to the TV and the wall. It does not allow for swiveling so make sure you plan on having it in one position. If this is a reasonable priced item it is worth it.
