Happy Jack Mange Medicine for Dogs & Horses - Soothes Hot Spots, Mange, Fungi, Allergies, Eczema - 8 oz

My dog had fleas. He kept itching so badly, he would draw blood. His hair was falling out and he suffered from little red bites. He was miserable . I was beside myself. I used Adams for the fleas, it worked with flying colors!! But My dog still itchy, scratchy, losing his hair. just miserable. So after a lot of studying and describing his symptoms, I came to the conclusion that he might have mange. I studied some more figuring out he was suffering from the mange that burrows into the skin. OMG!! I felt like such a bad dog owner! I love my dogs! I shopped on a few sites. Quite a few. I got every suggestion you can imagine. Even pour used oil over him. Car oil and of course not hot. Then I pulled up Walmart site. I have the app. Hit the microphone on the site, then just told my phone what I needed. Of course a lot of different solutions too choose from. I chose Happy Jack mange shampoo because of the ingredients. Happy Jack has worked so well, my puppy, well 2yrs , is playing again not itching, his skin is turning pink again, coat is already growing back ,after 1 week of use. You're not supposed to use this product on cats. But if you have a very severe case or more than 1 dog infected, you may consider 2 bottles of Happy Jack. Wonderful product!!

This product really works. After the first application I saw the results. I tried everything and nothing gave the results like this product. Although it is very harmful if it gets on your skin so be careful because it does contain pesticides and be sure to use rubber gloves when applying. I highly recommend this product for dogs if their mange is really bad.👍

Have a older dog we call him Old Man (20yrs) he for some reason was losing his fur. I thought it looked like mange. I took him to the vet, it was not mange, but a few hot spots that my Old Man was scratching at and lost his hair. So I bought Happy Jack Mange Medicine %26 Mange Treatment. Worked very well., lot less scratching and his hair came back. Will use Happy Jack when needed. Great for hot spots too. I does have a smell to it, but after a little while it went away or at least I no longer could smell it.

It works great. The only thing I don't like is that I have to wait for it to dry bedore letting my dog near the cats. It takes a long time to dry and is pungent. But it really does work better than anything else I've tried. Just remember it is poisonous to cats.

I gave 1 star for "ease of use" because: The 'directions'? Gives you every thing you need to NOT do, but not one word about "HOW" to apply it. Finally went from site to site to look at reviews. Everyone had their ideas of how to apply it. So I said screw it and did what I thought was best. They say it is for mange, not sure my dog has mange but what ever was on/under his skin has stopped bothering him. I tried many products over the last year. but this one seems to be working. I put my surgical gloves on (handy to have when your using chemicals) and shook the crap out of the bottle and put a small amount in different spots on his back. I massaged it in for a few minutes. It stinks a little and should not be inhaled so open a window or go outside to do this. Now I MUST say, the product seems to be working, no scratching/biting himself in 3 days. But I will apply it again today just to be sure. My dog is yellow from the product, but this will wash off when I bathe him. Yes, worth the effort (so far).

I never found any true directions on this bottle. I did put on rubber gloves, as per warnings. I applied to the areas on my dog that looked to be darker patches of fur/skin.. I basically was taking a little to the tip of my finger and rubbing it in, flakes and fur began to fall off.. The smell was overwhelming (the pine tar smell) About an hour later I put my dog in tub and washed it, and bedding into washer to try to get rid of smell.. it is now in my nose and making me nauseous.

This product seems to work, albeit slowly. The smell from the liquid is almost offensive, and permeates everything that comes into contact with it. It is very hard to remove from fabric and clothing, even after washing.

the gasoline smell is so intense that we can taste it in our food. it just doesn't go away. anyone with breathing problems or sensitivity to petroleum fumes should not buy this product. it did seem to do something but definitely not worth it

Happy Jack Mange medicine smells like tar and causes blindness. It is worthless and dangerous to use. I wish I could get a refund because it made my dog very sick and blind and caused floaters and vision loss in me as well.

I purchased this product thinking it could help my dog but returned it after reading the directions. Directions on the bottle are clear to understand. My fur baby is very old and I wasn't really comfortable taking a chance. I'm sure it is a good product but I will never really know.
