with two people, it was easy to cover the pool and definitely large enough for great coverage. the material seems like it will be strong enough to endure the winter winds this year. im not sure if we'll be able to use it a second year. it came with everything needed to secure to the 16' x 32' above ground pool.
We have had pools for 26 years, and this is the best pool cover that I have ever owned. Our neighbors have many trees so the leaves were always landing on top of our previous covers, and getting trapped along the sides. This ultimate cover with the center mesh line does not droop down on the sides and most of the leaves simply get blown off by the wind. I did put in two half-inflated pool pillows due to our severe winters, however I put them both on one side of the solid cover so most of the rain water flows towards the mesh line. After a huge downpour, I used a pool water bailer to get off the excess water and leaves off the top, and now it is completely cleared off on top. Highly recommend this ultimate cover. Note you will need to drill brackets into the supports to strap the cover down fairly tight.
When we received the pool cover and is too large for the pool, but what they made out of it was a tarp for the patio and the pool has another cover. Definitely know your sizes incorrect measurements, but it worked out. I'm still happy.
A friend recommended this company, and we ordered the cover for my daughters pool. It was a little big but hopefully it will be a lot better than the one she got last year. The way it was strapped down was already better than last year. She lives out it in the open and the wind gets pretty brutal. Fingers crossed it makes it through this coming winter.
It is definitely lighter for my wife and I to handle than our regular cover. The size does require the pillows to put underneath it. If you want to cover to be off of the water currently we have to cover laying on our water. We have to win the cold environment below the skimmer. We bought it was so we didn't have to pump off the water off the tarp in the spring and then fill the pull back up. Time hotel works for us. We'll talk to you in the spring.
This is the second time I have purchased the same cover. It holds up well. and does what it is supoosed to do. I use it kind of differently as my deck comes up and over the top rail of hte pool walls. So I cannot bring the cover down the sides and cinch it down. I simply screw it down to my deck and unscrew it in the spring when time to open it up. but yes, I will buy another when this one wears out. Iast one lasted me 5 yrs.
I used this pool cover and it fit like a glove, quality material. I like that it seen durable and is light weight. The loops and ratchet system are a game changer with the screw in clips along our rails. The ratchet itself was not so great quality as the thicker black cable did not fit. I had to drill the middle whole wider so the cable wire could pass through and catch. Time will tell with the hard cold season approaching how well it holds up. Price is high
Cover labeled on box to be for 18 foot round but after placing on pool it appears to be for maybe 18 to 20 foot round because it has a significant overlap. Hopefully this wont cause too big of a problem but the wind definitely billows up the cover a lot more. Only time will tell.
The cover looks to be made very well. However, the bungee cord supplied are bulky rubber ones, which leave black residue on your hands. They don't look like they will hold up in the outdoors and will be dry rotted soon. I guess time will tell. The directions are fairly straightforward.
This is my 3rd mesh cover and have been happy with their performance. I have averaged 2.5 seasons per cover and given the price, not bad. Better than solid covers that hold water and tear. My concern is sizing. I encourage using actual outside measurements of your pool to determime cover size, not the advertising size.
