Clorox Pool&Spa pH Down, Reduces pH in Swimming Pools, 5 lb Bag, Granules

Gets the job done, no complaints. I'm on well water that is fairly alkaline so I need to use this every time I add water. Granules about the size of coarse table salt, dissolve pretty fast when added in small quantities. Once in a great while the built in zip closure doesn't close well but that's about it.

Shipment arrived fast. All the bags were wrapped in a plastic bag. That was a great idea since some of the bags leaked. The Clorox Ph Down works great. I will be ordering more. Thank You

I love this product. I have a salt water pool so the PH is always high. Unfortunately I am afraid to use the liquid acid to bring down the PH since it can burn your skin. This is a super easy alternative that is safe to use. I recommend getting a bucket and partially dissolving it with some pool water before dumping it in so that you have less to brush off the bottom.

I'm constantly using either the decrease or increase with my pool wit this fl weather! They work sooooo quickly. Just a little goes a long way in getting the leveled just right and it's sooo simple. I do not dissolve mine before adding it to my pool, I just dump in an ounce or two and scrub the pool down and 2 hours later go and retest. It's that easy.

We went with the Clorox products because this is our first pool. Clorox has test strips that come with a free app so you can scan it and then it tells you what you need to add and how much. So far we have managed to get the water to the correct pH. Very happy with the product so far.

First time pool owner. ordered this product due to offset chemical balance in pool water. research recommended using this. I did. product did remedy issue and was easy to use and measure for use. would recommend product for use in above ground pool.

Standard chemical for swimming pools- mine is an inground plaster pool. Product was delivered next day as promised. Price was the best I could find anywhere.

Its a pool chemical not much to say. Some cheaper some more expensive. Easy directions but ever notice there is no real consistency to what chemistry level range. the mins and max are never the same.

Be careful! I added this to my pool and it IMMEDIATELY turned green again and my oh levels were even higher!!!!

This brought my alkalinity down but barely touched my PH. Now I'm having to add Sodium Bicarbonate to bring my alkalinity back into range and guess what that will do to my PH. 30,000 gallon pool, Alk-100, PH-7.8, Calcium-260, Chlorine - 1.8, CYA-30,Temp-80 before applying. After adding 18oz each night for 4 nights my PH is still above 7.8 and my alkalinity has dropped to 75! Going back to Muriatic Acid as much as I hate to work with it.
