Harris Succulent and Cactus Potting Mix - 4 Dry Quarts

I like consistency of it, easy to handle. I am using it for the first time, so I have nothing to compare it to. And this my first succulent plant, too. I took a cutting and placed it in the soil. But I would say, at this point I give it a “5 Stars”!

I have been told repeatedly that you are supposed to mix succulent and cacti soil with other small rocks and perlite, but I have a lot of pots filled with just this soil for my succulents, and they're all thriving. 🌵🌱🪴

succulent potting soil is sometimes hard to find.

Seems to have good drainage, and my Christmas cactus is growing fine with it.

Shipped quickly and well packaged. Succulents need this and appreciate it. Reasonably priced and saves a trip to the store.

This is by far the best succulent and cactus soil on the market. I have a lot of Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving cactus as well as other cactus varieties. I also have many succulents and they all do so well with this soil mix. I would recommend this to anyone for repotting their plants. I even mixed this in with house plant potting soil to amend the soil. Highly recommend Harris brand.

great soil, my plants love it!

Looked like little chunks of black charcoal, very odd. Since it was my first purchase of succulent mix ever I didn't know what to expect. I mixed it a 1 part succulent mix to 2 parts potting mix. I looked at pictures of this exact product on the Internet and it looked very different than the product I received. Nonetheless my 15 year old Blue Aloe Vera plants seem to be doing ok.

i ordered 2 bags of this succulent soil. one bag was expanded so much, i was hesitant to touch it, i was afraid it would pop. the 2nd bag wasn't much better. that was the least of the problems. both bags, adter opening them, smelled so badly like raw sewage, there was absolutely no way they could be used. i had to return both bags.
