Was pleasantly surprised as to how heavy/well made this is. I tried it on several nails ranging from paneling to #10 nails. Couldn't even tell that I used the nail pulled except with the #10 nails, it left a little bit of a dent, but way better than totally damaging my wall!
I got the HART 180 Degree 10-inch Nail Puller with Strike Zone because I am always working on something that I have to pull nails from. I do take apart alot of pallets for crafting to make indoor/outdoor decor. This nail puller does a great job! Much better than using a hammer and crow bar. The strike zone where you hit it with a hammer also works great and doesnt destroy the wood. I also used this nail puller to rip off some facing board on my garage because carpenter bees destroyed them and this thing worked great... so glad I got one of these nail pullers. This is definitely one tool everyone should have!
I got the Hart 180 degree nail puller because I do a lot of remodeling on my home. This nail puller is made very strong. The contoured handle fits in your hand very comfortably. I especially like the chisel point end with the added flat hammer strike surface which allows you to drive the nail pulling fork into the wood so you can grip the head of embedded nails and pull them out. Once you get the nail started out it had another place on the side of the handle that you wedge the nail head in and are able to pull longer nails out with. The finish on the puller is eye appealing along with the overall shape and design. The paint did chip off on the strike zone after a few hits with a hammer but that is to be expected. This is not a pry bar and should not be used as one. It was designed to pull nails and does a very good job of it. If you are a do it yourselfer this is a must have tool.
This Hart 10 inch nail puller is made of forged steel. It has 3 different areas to pull nails out of wood. It can pull short or long nails also it can pull out nails of large head sizes and small head sizes, even pulls out nails with no heads with no problems. It also removes industrial staples easily. And has a strike zone and with the weight of nearly 12 ounces. You should have no problem nailing. The great hand grips keep this tool solidly in your hand. This is a great tool to have around in your tool box in your garage even in your kitchen junk drawer.
Okay, so I absolutely love to do my own little woodworking projects with reclaimed wood and pallets. This is THE perfect tool for me because seventy five percent of my wood always has nails imbedded in it! I love that this is not to heavy like some tools are. The handle is really nice because it has a good and comfortable grip area. My absolute favorite part about it is that normally while trying to pull out nails, some are really hard to pull out, and this really is amazing at getting out embedded nails! I definitely had my doubts at first but was completely blown away at how cool and helpful it is! I am so beyond glad I have this and it definitely has became part of my normal set of woodworking tools!
I needed a nail puller for me. One with a “girl” grip! Regular nail pullers are too wide for me. The Hart 180 degree nail puller fit the bill perfectly. (Love the grip) It was shipped to me with a slight bent tip, but it didn't effect the way it worked. I used it on some old trim and windows, every angle you could imagine and it Worked perfectly. I was surprised that my husband commented how much he like it. Good product!
Wow! This nail puller is a game changer. We were surprised by how solid this was, it is thick and heavy. It did a great job of pulling nails out of a pallet, with not to much effort. This is definitely a keeper, and something I believe will last awhile!
While my son was visiting, we decided to rip the old front porch off our home and rebuild it saving as many boards as we could for other projects, which entailed removing the nails without damaging the wood.. This nail puller made that job a breeze.. Easy to grip, and comfortable to handle.. I highly recommend this tool .
As a woman that loves doing projects from reclaimed wood this made the job of getting the nails out easy. It is way easier than using a hammer and it's very durable. It's not real heavy but made really well which makes it perfect for anyone to use.i cant wait to let my 10 yr old grandson help me remove the nails.
The nail puller does pull nails, but VERY uncomfortable to hold for any amount of time. My husband is a roofer and he used this for several days and was not impressed it does the job but it's not very ergonomic at all, it's good for around the home small jobs.
