The fan seems to be quality made. It seems to maintain a cool breeze even in warmer environments. I love the detachable battery and charger. I'm not sure where 18 hours run time comes from but the 1.5ah battery gets you 7 . That's still impressive compared to many others.
I have two of these. The oldest has been used at five week long summer camps. I love it. I can't tell you how long a 1.5 amp battery will last you. I get about three days with off and all use.
This little fan comes in so handy! I keep it and a 4aH in my truck just in case I need it. I use it about once a week and I've never ran the battery down using it for probably about two hours each time.
Very disappointed that this fan only came with a 1.5 ah battery. I did not see this in the description. I own many Hart tools now including a lawnmower, the multi tool with all attachments, chainsaw, three fans and more. I feel like I was taken on this purchase. smh I have not tryed this fan yet to make sure it works. Put it to the side due to the battery.
As much as this fan costs you think it would last longer. I bought this for my job at a warehouse because are no longer allowing fans that need to be plugged in. when I made this purchase I didn't realize you had to spend more money to upgrade to a better battery just for it to last a 12 hour shift. I do turn it off for breaks and any time I walk away from my station and it still doesn't last. I do like the product I just really wish for $70 that it would last my whole work shift. now I'm debating spending more money to have to upgrade to a bigger battery! ahhh! Best bet is to take the option of purchasing this without the battery and then buy the bigger battery separately to save yourself some money and grief.
dont waste your time or money hart brand battieres are junk ive had 2 brand new batteries and both was bad, i needed this fan for my 4th of july cookout ordered it over a week ago go it fast sent it back now they tell me its back ordered, stay away from hart brand ill never deal with them again!!
Bought this, when it arrived the battery on all chargers read "error". had a replacement processed, received replacement, battery on all charges "error" apparently the batteries in this product are junk. i have 2 waiting for me to take them back, and the batteries don't work in either. fan functions with other batteries i have from the system and charges will work on other batteries.
I ordered this fan that's supposed to come with a batter. The battery is missing now we can't use the fan until I send this one back and get another one. This was supposed to be a birthday gift and now it's not
a fan with a faulty battery! have no A/C in my home so very much awaste of money and time let alone all of the frustration trying to get it to work for hours on end.
Batteries are junk. I just received a day ago and the battery will not charge. Flashing red and won't charge. Very disappointed I wanted the fan for Hurricane season.
