This Drill/Driver Kit comes with 1.5Ah Lithium-Ion battery & charger. It has an adjustable clutch with 24 torque settings. It also includes a 3-year warranty. Some features include the 24 position clutch adjusts torque for driving fasteners, has variable speed trigger that provides user control for precise drilling and driving, it is also compact and lightweight in design. It has overmold with microtexture grip, and compatible with all HART 20V lithium-Ion batteries. This unit has fade free lithium-Ion power and is environmentally friendly. The total weight is 3.6 lbs. Great gift for guys and anyone who is a do it yourself type of person. Hubby was really pleased to get a 20V.
So I received this product, the HART 20-Volt Cordless 3/8-inch Drill/Driver Kit, 1.5Ah Lithium-Ion Battery, through the Spark Reviewer program; this kit has a 3/8-inch drill/driver, a double-ended, Operator's Manual, (1) 20-volt 1.5Ah Lithium-ion battery and a battery charger. This is a cordless drill/driver with a keyless clutch. The adjustable keyless clutch has 24 torque settings. This comes in handy for small jobs around the house. It has a decent amount of power, its small and lightweight. It has a micro-texture grip. It does what it is designed for. It drives screws in very well. This is a simple tool and should be able to help tackle most small jobs around the house with no problems. This 20V one battery system is part of the HART 20V product line. You can interchange the battery and power all HART 20V tools, outdoor, and automotive items. I do recommend this product.
This drill is easy to hold to get the hard work done fast. My husband is a big man and he said it easy to grip and weighted well. It's not awkward and off balance. So I tried it. I felt the same way. It's very comfortable for my smaller hand even with my weaker grip. My husband used it for bigger jobs where I used it around the house. I have another brand that's hard to hold after 15 minutes. Not so with this one. The battery is pretty techy. It won't charge unless it's a certain temperature to insure maximum charging ability and protect battery life. It's got sufficient power. Adjustable keyless clutch is amazing! I love that I can use the battery with other Hart products.
The Hart 20V Drill-Driver would be a great addition to any workshop. I had a slight problem figuring out how to tighten the drill bits once inserted, thinking this task would be easy without reading the enclosed instructions. Not true—it is important to read the instructions carefully before inserting the bits and to also heed the warnings to properly position the forward/reverse/center lock selector. The instructions are also helpful regarding use of higher and lower speeds. What is especially unique about this drill is that a separate key mechanism isn't needed to attach the drill bits, a particular source of frustration as that separate small device often gets misplaced in the workshop. Another attractive feature of this drill is that the battery pack is interchangeable with other tools made by the Hart Company. This is my first cordless drill and the convenience of not having to deal with the cord and extension cords, as well as a built-in tightening mechanism are obviously a huge convenience.
This cordless drill driver has 24 torque clutch settings to handle drilling tasks around the home and shop. Also includes a 20 volt 1.5Ah lithium-ion battery that is interchangeable with many other Hart 20 volt tools. • Variable speed trigger, reversible • 24 torque clutch settings • Keyless chuck • Battery is interchangeable with other 18 Volt NiCd Drill Master tools This has been a great drill. I have been using it for a few days now and have not been disappointed. I have used it to complete a few household tasks as well as odd jobs around my business. My main use has been to drill holes, but it works fairly well with screwing in fasteners. After reading reviews for other competitors drills and also in owning other cordless products, I didn't know what to think and, I thought perhaps I hope this will help other home owners make a buying decision based upon my own research. I am also an owner of an automotive repair center, I do own a million tools for the workplace and also those I keep at home. One of the reasons I selected this drill was because it looked interesting. To me it looks kind of fast and sleek or futuristic. With its blue color and angled lines, you'll note in photo below, it is somewhat attractive; I like the look of the new flat battery packs as opposed to the older, plug in batteries. Also, this drill is 20V which, you would think it would make it more powerful but, in looking at the torque rating, it's not the case. In some drills, I find the bit not held tightly in the chuck. Please notice that the arrow icon of the screw is uppermost on the barrel. This is important when chucking in a bit as it ensures the maximum torque and tightness. If you have "24" or any other number at the top of the barrel, you are in a "torque setting" which is used when driving screws. This means that when you achieve a certain tension, the clutch will slip and fail to tighten the chuck further. If you hear a clicking sound when tightening the chuck around a bit, then you need to adjust the ring so the screw icon is on top. Because of this, you can adjust for the densiting of material you're drilling into or the strength needed to attach a fastener. I decided I would test this drill for both overall power and battery life. To do this I decided upon a series of tests of what I felt were of gradually escalating difficulty. While these tests may be pertinent to my particular situation, only you can decide if they are a "fit" to your situation and expected usage of the product. The battery life appears very good, I have had to recharge it only once. The only time it went dead was when I first got it and I hadn't charged it yet. I have been very happy with this tool.
The battery doesn't work. I plugged it in and it keeps blinking red, to indicate error or testing, but never turns green. Junk. Now I have to drive to my local Walmart and see if they'll give me a different battery. Apparently this is a common problem.
Well, I just received my delivery order from Walmart , and was ready to charge my new drill, when the box shows that it comes with a charger to charge the battery… and there is none in any of the packaging… neither is there a manual/ instruction booklet in the box.
I have now purchased 2of these drills The first one the charger did not work, I know this because I own the weed eater and the blower that use the same charger and battery I returned the first one and got another one I got it home and it has a bad battery. I'm in the process of returning the second one now. The second charger works but the battery will not take a charge. I'm not sure if I'm going to try another one but I already have batteries for my other ones and I don't want to change products now.
I've been working with the Hart customer service sine the 3/17/23 and still know only 1 thing for sure the problem I'm having is either the charger for the drill or the battery since the charger blinks red when it's connected to the drill. so after a week of my purchase the drill is a total waste of money.
I bought this drill but realized it didn't have enough power to do the work I wanted to do in my garage. I took it back to the store to get a more powerful ( hammer drill) but they refused saying walmart policy does not allow a return. Now I'm stuck with a useless drill. I'm so disappointed and my garage is still a mess.
