Next day of purchase I had to call Hart because battery didn't charge at all now I have to wait 10 to 14 days for a new Battery I don't think this is fair for any customer, they should revise the tools before selling, customer support from Walmart location is zero they just concentrate in selling the product if there is any problem with it they tell you just return it and that's it.
I knew this brushless model was more powerful and more power efficient than the brushed version, but the much shorter length and 1/2 pound lighter weight (compared to the brushed model) was a very pleasant surprise. I had tried a Milwaukee m12 installation drill but my hands were too big for its shorter grip and I didn't like the lock on it being located on the top. This brushless hart drill is small but has a big-person friendly grip and a normal direction-lock switch that I prefer.
I make pens on my lathe and usually work with wood and acrylic pen blanks. I needed a drill I could use to square the blanks I had ready for sqauring because my drill press broke. I bought this and just tried it. It has the power to sqaure acrylic pen blanks with ease. This is my new sqauring tool for this step in the prep process. It's worth the money. If you're like me on the hunt for a good drill for sqauring, this is that drill. Your hunt is offically over.
ive used the name brand tool like DeWalt, Ryobi, Milwaukee, etc...Unless your doing new home or heavy duty commercial construction, Hart tools are perfect! now that they offer brushless options, they have gotten even better. been using Hart brands for nearly two years, not a single one of the tools ive purchased have broken, and have held up very well.
You can feel and hear the power of this brushless drill! I have see the brushed drill for a year now, and then seen the brushless on a mega sale and couldn't pass up the opportunity. Way outperforms the Makita brushless I have, and well worth the money!!
I like the battery life and torque of this drill. I built a 14' garage work ench usingno er 400 screws, most 2.5" and finished on one battery. This is not commercial/contractor equipment, but great for almost any daily task up to medium duty needs for the home handyman. Only noted concern is sometimes the trigger does not engage initially, but releasing and reapplying the trigger has worked. Maybe, hopefully just a break in quirk. I also have the 20 volt 6" auto buffer that works great on cars, stone counter tops, and stainless steel appliances.
This is the second drill I have bought and it does not work the same problem as the first one the charger won't charge the battery either the battery is bad or the charger is bad this is the second drill with the exact same problem
Do not buy this drill. It is trash. The battery didn't work. The drill didn't work. Complete waste of time.
Dont bother with this drill theres tons of far higher quality drills than this for less money. What makes this impossible to use well is the face its balance is horrible and it simply wants to fall out of your hand. You feel the pressure of it a proper tool should be balanced so it's easy to control. Also despite being brushless a 20 year-old nicad 12v Mikita has more torq.
Just bought this drill kit and put it to immediate use to build a shed. On the third use, the entire chuck assembly fell out of the drill. Returned.
