This is a good trimmer. It's not as heavy to move around. Easy to put together. I'm starting to like this brand hart. I already own a couple of other items with this brand and everything works great
At first, I was a little worried that, if it was Designed for a 2-cycle engine, it might not work with a 4-cycle engine, which is what I have. But, to my surprise, it works just fine with a 4-cycle! This Mean Machine chews up Even the Toughest clay!
Start by saying that one of the tines was off set on it weld so teeth lined up instead of being offset. just a quality check issue there. Could have returned it but not a big deal for just tossing up dirt in the garden beds. and it did that very well in a already tended to garden bed. if you have hard ground this won't have the Weight of a large tiller that can. I use it on a dewalt 60volt power head. it is universal for many tools. it is great to use for mending the garden bed. this beat the price in my oem model. good quality other than the tine issue.
Should be cheaper since it is just an attachment. The tines do not dig into the dirt as much as I would like unless you put a lot of pressure on the unit. Should have come fully assembled.
I bought this to go with a 40V Hart trimmer. I'm not immediately impressed, but it's okay if you need to do some light tilling or if you're mixing compost into soil or something like that. Pros. Being attachable to a trimmer makes it convenient to have around. You can run it with all 4 blades or with just 2. Cons. The blades on on one side don't line up properly with each other. The blades won't turn unless it's turned on, which makes it hard to clear a stuck rock. It cuts 2 grooves and leaves an untilled strip in the middle.
This is another example of Walmart thievery. I found this at a retail store for $35.99. I paid Walmart over $120.00 for the same exact item. Same UPC code. I am not going to lie, I could spit nails.
At first, it was working great. The battery level was strong and it seemed too good to be true. However, after only 30mins of tilling a small garden bed, the poll attachment connecting to the tiller blades bent in half and buckled. I'm glad I bought the warranty so I can get refund. It must of had a weak pole allowing it to bend. Bummer.
Ordered the tiller because the trimmer is powerful, well made and works well. Struggled to put the tiller together. Powered it up and the tines just spun like they are not connected to the gear box. Reported it and Walmart promptly sent me a new tiller. Assemble that. Tried it. It worked for about 2 minutes. Then the tines spun freely. I will return the 2 tillers to the Walmart store since the Dollar General store refused to accept the first one.
It doesn't come with directions and it was wobbly when I tried putting it in my Husqvarna weedwacker. I finally got it to be stable and it didn't cut like it was supposed to. Thankfully they issued me a fully refund.
Delivery failed to leave at the door as promised by Walmart. It was left in the middle of the front yard around 5:30 am. %26 and could have easily been seen and stolen if our Ring doorbell had not alerted from motion. The tiller works fine, but Walmart delivery sucked.
